New install on old PC help

I've been using Mint on an old PC for a while and I recently switched over to Bazzite and upgraded the graphics card. After days of troubleshooting I finally got the video to output to my TV and monitor. The monitor works fine on the HDMI but the GPU and TV couldn't figure how to talk to each other, so I would either get no video or the resolution would be locked to 480p 4:3. The fix was to use a DP 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 connector for the TV and HDMI directly to the monitor and now I can get at least 1080p 16:9. But now I have the problem that the PC won't detect audio on the TV. Old GPU worked fine with video and audio.

Reddit suggested reinstalling Bazzite with the TV connected as the primary display.

The old GPU was a MSI rx580, new GPU MSI rx 6750 xt. PC is Dell Precision T3600

Monitor Dell 27in and TV is a Sony 65in OLED

Any help would be appreciated

How to stop LM from going to sleep

I'm a novice so go gently it's kinda my first time. I hope I'm in the right place.

I recently installed Mint on an old laptop to use as a browser for my TV. Everything has gone great so far except when I turn off the TV the laptop goes to sleep and won't wake. The TV is set to primary display.

I've turned off all of the power saving options and set Screen off/Suspend/lid coose to never or nothing. Turned off the screen saver and light. I checked the BIOS (it's actually BIOS and really that old) and no power settings that would effect sleep or wake.

But it still goes to sleep when I turn off the TV. This would be tolerable if it would actually wake from sleep. So the only way to get it to come on is to pull the battery out and force a restart.

Problem #1 - Goes to sleep when TV is off

Problem #2 - Won't wake unless I pull the battery
