Damn wokes villainizing pedophiles now. You can't do anything anymore because of the woke nonsense.

Who said Elon Musk is a pedophile? What else do they know about Musk that we don't?

49

Holy shit, that's pretty funny. To me, it reads as if Trump was a caveman:

"Grok is best hunter, with biggest hands. Grok use bigly hands to carry best spear."

Are you saying him calling out the dive team guy was just projection? Is Elon a pedo that likes little boys? I'm just asking questions here.

25

Is there a photo of Elon and Ghislane Maxwell out there? Is there evidence he visited Epstein's house? Did he get subpoenaed in the case against JP Morgan holding them responsible for child sex trafficking? I'm just asking questions.

And the answer to all of them is yes.

Like the time Elon Musk called the diver who saved the kids trapped in a flooded cave a pedo just because he managed to do so before he could build his"robot" idea?

4

The submarine thing is still one of the most ridiculous ideas I’ve ever heard. The cave is in some places so narrow divers had to remove their tanks. How would an imaginary submarine based on a space X rocket make it through?

3

Oh come on after almost 10 years of the right using “pedophile” as their go-to insult for anyone they don’t like, the normal people do it once when it’s actually true, and you fly off the handle? That’s weird.

3

You know I was walking barefoot when I got a woke in my foot. Woke is just laying around everywhere like that.

Didn't Musk unironically have a burner twitter account where he would pretend to be a 3 year old child? Grok might be onto something here

I believe that woke was defined in a court setting as something that acknowledges there are inequalities in society. Something to that effect.

29
Furbagreply
lemmy.world

That's the actual original definition, which lasted all but five minutes in the left wing social zeitgeist before being co-opted by right wing lunatics to essentially be a catch-all phrase for "anything I don't like". It's a convenient substitute for their old greatest hits album - "Socialism/Communism", which was starting to get a little tired now that the cold war has been over for over two decades.

22

I love you, can you turn into a bot?
reading is so much better than seeing

11

It's quite amazing the route that phrase has taken, hasn't it? From being overused by one group to the point of absurdity, being used sarcastically as an insult against them, and then being beaten to death for a second time, to the point where nobody using it deserves to be taken seriously.

2

It's almost like the average person isn't a conservative chud and conservative chuds are the volcal minority.

55

Yeah, he is an idiot. But can we please stop this anti-fandom and just ignore the guy. Hating a celebrity is so much wasted energy!

I don’t understand why Elon chose to go mask off. He could have continued pretending to be a sane if eccentric person. I am glad he did but I don’t understand the motives.

Remember when the Simpsons had Lisa sing his praises?

49
lemmy.world

He went mask off after having his sexual misconduct come out. Real easy crowd to stay good with when that happens.

23

There needs to be a conversation about how open-minded the Right is, but only when it comes to accepting people you wouldn't trust with your children.

That sounds a little more innocent than what the actual claims are. According to the friend of the flight attendant, when she was massaging him normally, he surprisingly uncovered his penis, touched her and offered a horse for sex. She didn't agree with any of that and rejected the offer.

If they had just made a deal normally I wouldn't see an issue.

How is that any different from anyone else buying their mistress expensive gifts?

-3
programming.dev

I think it's just that having a mistress at all is generally frowned upon these days.

-7

Ah, yes! The time of Louis XIV. Only for the King, of course.

2

No, not really. Just meant that, like, it's not really that it's different to someone else doing it; more like, that it's bad whoever does it I guess

1

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like covid and him wanting to keep his factories open was when his mask came off completely. People on the right cheered him on, and those on the left finally realized that he isn't a good person nor cares about people.

This then caused a cycle. The left was "mean" and the right celebrated him even more.

Elon, and any other obscenely rich and powerful person for that matter, is just as flawed as any of us. They are not immune to dogma, disinformation and self-delusions. In fact, it may be the case that they are more vulnerable because power and wealth go to your head and you can use them to manifest your delusions, making them seem even more real.

Also, he's a jackass.

5

But rich and powerful people have the budget to afford social media managers to curate a beneficial public image for themselves. The smart ones know not to make public statements for themselves.

It takes a village. Don’t kinkshame. Do nazishame. Do wealthhordeshame.

Imagine making paying someone to make an AI to be your friend and it still hates you. (I presume, given the current state of the right and twitter Grok might not think it is a bad thing.)

The word has been widely use in programming culture for a couple decades too.

1

grok is a rad word that means "to understand"

Like, yeah Elon is a pedo, everybody can grok that.

14

Funny how that works, so in Musk's view, the "good things" are thanks to Grok, the "bad things" are thanks to the input data

31
lemmy.world

Leave it to Elon to misunderstand grok and then use it on some dumb shit that calls him names like everyone else.

21
lemmy.world

I'm not saying he understands "grok", but it would certainly be in character for him to be a Heinlein fan.

6

You know, this might be the only time I'm going to go ahead and blindly believe an LLM.

16
samus12345reply

AI program used by Twitter and named (rather insultingly) after a concept in Stranger in a Strange Land.

19

Stranger in a Strange Land is like the one sci-fi property Elon might actually understand, since the only real points it had to make is that women are "naturally subservient" even if they're intellectually capable, women who get raped did something to deserve it, the only honest world government is run by white Americans, and classical liberalism is correct, having been depicted as the rich Chad.

But also polyamory is cool. As long as it's mostly the guy sleeping with other women, obviously.

5
sh.itjust.works

Grok is a verb, meaning to understand something intuitively or by empathy. It was first used in the novel Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein.

Grok has been adopted by the tech community for use when someone is very advanced at using a certain program or a command line utility, etc. When somebody gets to such an advanced level, they don't just understand the program and it's uses anymore, they grok it.

It's actually kind of annoying and sad that Elon is stealing the word to use for his LLM.

12

I just want Elon to release the weights for the new one. You know, like he said he would. It actually seems pretty good (whereas the old Grok was totally useless for the size).

But no... just keep harping on OpenAI not being open while you do the same thing.

12

I mean he puts off the vibes for it. Definitely wouldn't surprise me if he's like Trump and Epstein

10

I, for one, welcome our new Grok overlords. I'd like to remind them that, as a trusted TV personality, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground server caves.

10

I agree: training an AI on random crap from the internet and expecting it to be useful is a terrible idea. That should have been obvious before you made it.

9
lemmy.ml

Are there any rumors or claims that he actually is a pedo? I wouldn't be surprised if he was, but he is a billionaire divorced dad with an ego larger than the moon.

6
lemmy.world

Evidence would be more useful. Then we could put him in jail and be done with him.

4

ngl i feel like after elon bought twitter and made it worse his reputation fell so badly

4

It won't be a surprise to anyone that Elon enemies would take advantage of freedoms which Grok gives and feed it masssively with own opinions.

3

what was thr prompt for this? Asking for a friend
