JC Tretter: World Cup disproves past excuses for not using grass indoors

Reply in thread

The grass seed industry is also full of corruption, lies, and all sorts of backroom deals. Every so often somebody goes to prison for some shenanigans or another.

Remove grass seed industry and you just described fifa.

Also if it’s that expensive and they’re willing to grow it for only a month long tournament for a sport that’s not even a big deal here, they can do it for the nfl. I don’t doubt that anything you’re saying isn’t true but honestly they seem like minor speed bumps for a corporation like the nfl.

The closest figure I could find said that chat gpt sees around 800 million users per week, not per day. The per month statistics at the height of January 2026 was 5.72 billion visits. Which means about 185 millionish (rounding up) per day. The statistics often go from visits to users. I imagine users means unique users and visits can mean the amount of times anyone has accessed the website. Regardless all of this would mean a majority does not use chat gpt

The boys care

I’m no life advice giver, but I’ll tell you what I tell my mom when she is stressed that her house is so dirty. I say to her, don’t think that the whole house needs to be cleaned. Just get the countertops clean. Once you do that maybe you’ll feel like cleaning the stove, and maybe the oven after that. Next thing you know you might have finished cleaning the kitchen. Now that’s one less room to think about cleaning (for now). Now maybe you’re into a routine of cleaning and want to keep going.

This could be bad advice but maybe don’t think about it being 80 pounds you want to lose in a year. Just commit to losing 5 pounds these next few months. Who knows where you’ll be in a year!

Good luck to you!

🚨 LUKA TRADED TO LAKERS

Reply in thread

Two years of luka basketball with the mavs absolutely outweighs this trade. One year of luka basketball (the rest of this season) absolutely outweighs this trade. The mavs, being upset about his conditioning could have literally shopped around the league for more than this crap. This is a complete and utter failure on behalf of the mavs and in my opinion a sell out from the new owners who don’t care about the future of this franchise and don’t want to pay luka his super max contract he very much deserves. I am a Mavs fan so all of this is extremely raw, but it’s so hard for me to see this as any other way than how I see it right now

Is Luka actually a championship winning player (genuine question)?

Luka is 25 in his first finals appearance, the series isn’t over they’re down 0-2 and he’s still the third favorite for finals mvp. He may complain a lot, but imo that’s because of his love and passion for the game. The mavs are not losing games because of Luka this series. Also, the Celtics not having a “good game yet” is also because of the mavs capabilities on defense too. I think the mavs are just having a difficult time making shots, and when the Celtics need to make them, they are able to. The mavs are a newish built team compared to the Celtics have mostly been together a while. You’re putting entirely too much weight on a 25 year old player in his first finals appearance imo. He’s also been dealing with injury most of the playoffs and I think that’s prevented him from completely taking over a quarter like he has previously in his playoff performances. I get what you’re saying but these are definitely to me just thoughts without much consideration of the circumstances at hand.
