Just a quick photo we took of the protest. Lots of support from local cars too, even when waiting in heavy traffic due to the protest! Only saw about 3 red hats. The Governor* declared a state of emergency for a completely peaceful protest. Lots of good citizens providing free water and picking up trash when the nearby trash cans had overflown. With my limited ability to count people in a large area I would guess 3k - 5k people. Also a picture of my protest sign which was a big hit!
