Oh, sorry, my bad. I wasn't aware disabilities were easily curable with exercise.

What word or term annonys you?

Cis and straight are... Entirely different axes, though. How would you describe someone who is cis and gay, or trans and straight while applying "straight" to both sexual orientation and gender identity?

I've only looked at Canada and Japan personally, but I can add that Japan also does this. The process of immigrating is to effectively prove you'll be a net positive on their economy if you live there, limiting disability is one way they can do that.

Big publishers ‘eject too soon’ from live service titles, says Warframe boss. “It comes out, doesn’t work and they throw it away”
This is a bit frustrating to hear from him considering this is exactly what he did with Wayfinders when he became CEO.

How have your opinions on media you once enjoyed changed over time? Are there movies or shows you used to find funny but no longer do?
The show Psych used to be a favorite of mine. When rewatching it recently, there's a string of episodes a few seasons in that are just straight up all racial stereotypes

Violent MAGA dude killed two people for shitting on Charlie Kirk
Reply in thread
I don't quite get how running down two women he had been stalking long before Kirk's death, that were in no way involved with said event, will somehow... lessen violence? This is an insane take.

What book(s) are you currently reading or listening? 13 November
Reading Angelmaker by Nick Harkaway. I love the humor in his writing style, but it does make the non action parts a bit slower reading. I'm also listening through Nona the Ninth, the third book in the Locked Tomb by Tamsyn Muir. Moira Quirk's narration makes this such a delight. Only drawback is waiting for my book club to catch up so I can read more.

What's something small you achieved recently that you're proud of?
I finally got an ultimate clear in Final Fantasy 14, after seeing the end of two separate fights right before the groups I was running them with went on break. For reference, Ultimates are the big end game raids that take upwards of 30+ hours of practice at the low end to get through

Finished reading The Black Gryphon with my sibling. Was surprisingly progressive for when it was written, and although the non pov characters were very cardboard, it was a fun read.
Listening to Good Omens finally. I absolutely love the comedic writing, and about half the cast. The actual plot bites me to tears so I've had trouble focusing on it, but weirdly still enjoying it.
Started Perdido Street Station. New Crobuzon feels like he took the Cantina scene in star wars and expanded it to an entire city. And I love that the PoVs so far are an artist and a scientist just doing their thing.

My last post was a lot more intresting then I thought, so here I am again asking in a diffrent flavor. Whats your personal favorite mmorpg of all time?
Vanguard Saga of Heroes, if it had had a year more to cook before launch. I fell in love with the crafting system, and the Diplomacy sphere was super neat.
FFXIV being my other favorite, as it is now.

I'm certainly liking it so far. I'm not far in yet, though.

What is your most watched movie, and how many times did you watch it?

Same boat here tbh. My three were The Matrix, the Dark Crystal, and weirdly Cats the musical.

If you're one for enjoying surprises as you read, I would heavily recommend using their time travel feature to avoid spoiling yourself as you read. It saved me many times, personally. And every time I turned it off to look anyway, I regretted it. https://coppermind.net/wiki/Special:TimeMachine

Musk literally did that when he bought Twitter though, and is still in n trajectory to being the first trillionaire. At the level of billionaires, it no longer matters what you do, everything generates money and doesn't actually use your assets anymore
