I had made a typo in the post title (22 June instead of 23) and am pleasantly surprised to see Lemmy allows us to edit post titles too. Better than Reddit already.

I finally got myself a library card. I brought home two books and started one of them. Can’t wait to restart reading as a hobby.

The two books for anyone interested are I, Robot by Isaac Asimov and The Lathe of Heaven by Ursula K Le Guin.

I’ve had a rough week. Managing mental health is tough. Missing a friend I haven’t really spoken to since we had an argument a few months ago. Boss was a complete jerk a couple of days ago. Just keep swimming, I suppose. What’s up with all of you?

Depression sucks

Totally agree, this kind of penalty is given so often as well. It’s the first time I’ve seen VAR overturn the decision. Usually, they just stick to the on-pitch decision.

Not too bad, some individual errors resulted in us conceding goals. We created some really good chances.

I had forgotten how slow the weekend feels during silly season.

I’ve been in flights with women pilots quite a few times so it is real weird that you haven’t come across any.

Feels like a loss. Doesn’t help that we really didn’t play well.

That wasn’t even a foul + Ayew actually has made two yellow card fouls and is still on the pitch.
