Make gravity your bitch
Gravity’s so powerful, it’s letting you win this round just to remind you who’s really in charge when you drop your phone

Unpopular opinion: I actually like MS Teams
Look, I know this might get downvoted, but Teams is... actually fine? Yeah, it's not perfect, but it just works. The best part is that everyone and their grandma knows how to use it because it's the corporate standard around here.
I can't tell you how much time I've saved not having to do the whole "can you hear me? let me try reconnecting... oh wait try updating your browser" dance that happens with other platforms. My company recently switched to Google Meet and honestly? It's been a downgrade. Teams might not be the coolest kid on the block, but at least I'm not spending half my meetings troubleshooting audio and video issues.

"One Rich Asshole Called Larry", which is a common joke about the company's founder Larry Ellison.
Or
"One Real Asshole Called...", which is another derogatory joke about the company and its leadership.

Tourists hit Iceland man riding his bicycle and flee the scene
While I can emphasize with people being panicked and scared of consequences for doing a major fuckup, I believe that its in those moments its most important to stay on course of what is moraly correct.
As most people, I have had moments where I did not live up to the words above, and those are the usually moments that bother me the most on sleepless nights. The moments when my actions did not live up to my morals.

Heatwave is no joke...
We're so into pushing the limits of AI, but we're forgetting about the important stuff, like making sure everyone has power when the weather goes crazy. It's like we're so focused on the shiny new toy that we're ignoring the basics. It's like we're trading our populations health for a few cool pictures. We need to think about the bigger picture and make sure we're not sacrificing what really matters for the sake of technology.

Ubisoft holds firm in The Crew lawsuit: You don’t own your video games
Ubisoft: 'You don’t own your games.' Me: 'Cool, so when I uninstall The Crew, I’ll send you an invoice for storage fees since it’s technically YOUR property.'"
Also, The Crew was supposed to last until 2099? Bro, Ubisoft can’t even keep their servers alive for a weekend, let alone 76 years.

Thank you for voicing the sensible, human and empathetic argument.
I would not fire the guy from his job, however, I would give him endless shit for using a work computer to watch porn. That's just dumb.

Problems
Don't fruit trees need extra care and pruning, and the fruit that falls to the ground is also kind of a mess to clean up. Sturdy trees are good in the city, since they are low upkeep and very good for air quality and shade. I am however a huge fan of vertical gardens with edible plants. Imagine a whole wall with mint growing on it, that would be wicked!

Been paying for years now, got a 50% price hike. Canceled on the spot. I like the creators I follow, but recommendations have sucked for me for several months now anyway.
Any advice for streaming ad free on Chromecast or Samsung tv?

My lovely, beautiful wife usual scares the shit out of me when she sneezes. I have never heard any man go as loud, ever. Some people just have amazing lung capacity and vocal chords!

Male rage is a sign of weakness, not strength
Wow, this really hit home for me. While I’ve never been the type to yell at people in parking lots, I was a very angry teenager. Over the years, through self-improvement and a lot of introspection, I’ve learned how to manage it. If this resonates with anyone else, just know that it does get easier with practice and reflection. But the key is that you have to want to improve and take control of your emotions. Most of the time, it’s best to just stay quiet and walk away—it’s not worth it. You always end up regretting the outburst.

Might as well go cyberpunk, I guess.
Reality check: Life's more "flickering office bulb" than "cyberpunk neon dream." Guess we're stuck in Blade Runner: Budget Cut Edition.
