My username on here wasn't descriptive enough for Bing so I went with an old one I used back in my teens - DarthGrapefruit

Mid journey just did it's usual "pretty thing from artstation", so here is what dalle3 came up with

43

took me a few prompts to find one I liked, ended up using "D&D style art of databender"

Not really sure what to make of that but I'm glad to know that Reagan is in the underworld at least

36

Ha, it knew "Led Tasso" was referencing Ted Lasso but it apparently didn't know that it's his abrasive alter ego, and instead went with an LED pun

29

Bing gives me a crazy MP3 player if I don't add a space and a cassette if I do add a space.

Was hoping for something a bit more exciting, but my name isn't as creative as other ones on here.

29

I redid my prompt with “Canadian” so all the pennies wouldn’t look American. The AI really shines through here, but I love it!

CA DAADA

28

This is the most viral lemmy I've seen yet. I hope the servers can handle all the images.

22

Used Bing with Dall-E 3. Added "epic" and "professional" since my name alone was "too generic" to use as a prompt.

Almost got my name right in the text.

20

This is really cool, I didn't realize you could run these locally!

A bit late, but here are mine, via Bing/Dall•E 3

Tlaloc_Temporal

Tlaloc Temporal

I'm quite impressed with the colous! I guess there's enough Tlaloc art with that interpretation around. Temporal by itself seems to be technobable-y enough to make everything a mech with an unbrella in a rainy city.

This was fun, thanks for the prompt!

20

The lack of fedora and cigar its a shame.

After a second try with the prompt "the driving crooner" gave a better result.

19

Looks kinda boring for a nickname representing a Norse god.

19

I... quite like that, you know. That was Bing Dall-E with the prompt, "Make me an image of LazerFX"

18

Went to use Bing for DALL-E 3 for the first time for these. Here are the first returns:

w/ spaces

w/o spaces

This is a great thread, it was over 1k comments in a few hours, and I've spent all day scrolling through these. Hope the servers can handle it.

17

Just "lazy couch potato" provides the following from Bing:

I'm not that messy. I swear..

::: spoiler Dall E 2's creations with the same prompt:

17

Had to separate the syllables for DALL-E to accept it. I don't blame it for the boring result though. Could anyone try stable diffusion?

16

Everyone gets beautiful people or cool monsters (or both like @[email protected]). Meanwhile DALL-E gives me this for “Chaotic Neutral Czech” and “Chaotic neutral Czech person”, respectively:

Maybe I should get Midjourney?

16

First result! Had no idea what to expect, but I did several generations and mostly they were cars.

I think this was 'futuristic-biomechanical cyberpunk'

and this was 'misc-lovecraftian'

Both done in stable diffusion online, with just 'quinacridone' for the prompt...so plenty of red

Bing Image Creator

12

Bing Image generator does not like my username for some reason. It just hangs forever 🤷

Wepik.com with the anime option gave me this

12

I'm a rock star, baby!

11

Great idea for a thread, OP!

Mine turned out surprisingly well. Just fed "please do images interpreting this username: rip_art_bell" into DALE-E 3

11

My Lemmy instance wont let anyone upload any pictures. Is there a way to embed inline an image to a comment in this case? Edit: found the solution finally.

10

Dalle gave me "It looks like this request may not follow our content policy."

10

These were the first two I did. It seems to create people who look roughly similar to Michael Santana, my namesake, except much more photogenic. They pretty much always have the long dark hair, beard, and glasses. I did get a bunch of other cool ones as I kept playing around with the parameters, but the first two were pretty solid.

:::spoiler Other attempts

Randomly made me into a car 😅

10

I'm not good at this. This is what Stable Diffusion came up with lmao

Edit: This is a little better, I guess. Kinda edgy:

10

It's funny. I ran my username through a variety of models and filters and it kept giving me variants of that same blond anime military-looking guy you all are posting, heh.

10

I haven't used any other tool nearly as much (and I don't know real good and free ones) so I gave Craiyon a shot!

9

What a cool idea! I have to try it on my comp later when I have time. Question about the "rules": spaces where appropriate, or no?

9

One day Bing Ai will process my image and I'll post it

Update: it finally generated... Four images that look like this

8

I’m really quite impressed with the results! I’d expect to see something like that in Adventure Time.

If it’s not too much trouble, could I ask you to do mine?

8

I love how Bing Image Creator made me sign in before it told me that it couldn't do it because it's too busy. Fucking Internet.

I eventually got it, and it's pretty cool, but I have no idea how to upload images here. At least it says my image is too big even compressed into a 57kb jpeg.

8

My username alone wasn't specific enough for bing, so I had to add to the prompt

"MrShankles in the style of MrShankles"

"Images interpreting this username: MrShankles"

"MrShankles ancient future" was fun

8

"Please provide a more descriptive prompt" well that is new....

Had to keep adding thing to the binger until it would take, "m0op0o the person cartoon style" was when it pooped this out:

lame

8

Just a note to people viewing these: many, if not most of these images are 1024x1024 or some other relatively-large size. It looks like at least lemmy defaults to showing a scaled-down version of the image in the UI; in my browser, it appears to be 512x512. But this is just being scaled down in the browser. If you right-click on them and choose your browser's equivalent of "show image", you can see the larger image there.

7

can anyone suggest me a website for this that doesn't ask you for your phone number, since I'm a bit into privacy but curious what the output might be? thanks.

6

This is way too cool! I feel embarrassed to ask but could anyone do mine (I've never used any AI image generator)?

6

i can't see why this is the result i get, but i'm sure ai doesn't have its reasons either
