“A lie of omission is still a lie!!”

• Jean Luc Picard berating Wesley and also me, angry at my cats when I ask them if they knocked over the bag of treats and ate all the treats, and they refuse to answer me

They work it out. For example, the Manhattan DA recently stated that he’d be fine with delaying his case so the Fed cases can go ahead

FUCK THE COWBOYS

(Are we anti postscript document format now? Did I miss a haters meeting??)

I think the point we are supposed to take away is that he’s very young, relatively speaking, to the Spock we know and love from the movies and TNG. He’s a work in progress on his way to becoming that person

You and your wife sound delightful. Are either of you single?

Erica, the doctor, and Christine, throughout the entire episode: “Don’t believe him. Don’t trust him. Let him die.”

I’m glad you asked. This is one of the biggest challenges to fediverse adoption. We need a better way to handle this so the new users don’t have to figure it out — because most of them won’t

Are you watching Strange New Worlds?

This, and the scene where Worf advises Data on picking a wedding present, are the two best Data/Worf scenes

Twice in my life I’ve had a cat that runs to greet me at the door and tell me about her workday. It’s absolutely delightful

Outstanding resource! Thanks for taking the time to assemble this!

Many of them are visually Apollo clones

I’m on iOS using the Voyager app. It’s nearly identical to Apollo, missing just a few features

You can try the web app here: https://vger.app/posts/lemmy.world/all

It works just like that , very smoothly, on the Voyager app

Got it and am posting this from the app. Well done!

Another great write up!

Good connection with Kirk and Uhura meeting in a bar and him ending up with a broken nose. I completely missed that

Here’s a visual depiction sent to me by my Gen Z kid, who thought this was hysterical

I’ve had various cats since 1996 and two cats since we adopted them as kittens in 2019.

Thanks to the pandemic, I got to spend something like 20 hours per day with one cat who likes to sleep and play next to my at-home desk and sleep at my feet at night.

I can read her face and body language and mood as if she were talking out loud to me. And she knows all my routines. It’s great
