I'm watching Mandy's old RING 2 stream VODs (because I like watching grown men fail at slide puzzles, don't judge) and he lost it when the Lowry chat started posting gifs and photoshops of Morrow. I know that every single Lowry post is an incomprehensible rabbit hole of in-jokes and references, but I have nothing on Mr. Morrow other than the one appearance in his SOMA video. What context am I missing?

It might be a different user, a different community name, but it's always the same: mostly NSFW pictures (sometimes not even revealing), 0 comments and a ~-6 score. The pictures are mostly about an erotic/romantic encounter between two people. Then the community disappears, resurfaces with a randomly similar name, and the same happens again.

Why?

Kinda curious about this; what's the deal with folks cutting off the artist's name and site?

I read the "ads" argument in the comments, but I don't buy it as attribution isn't an advert. So what's it actually all about?
