What causes that saliva smell that you get in your mouth after breathing a lot in freezing weather?
I can't relate to either of these experiences but I am unreasonably invested in the answer.

How Working From Home Changed My Life
Reply in thread
I have a 12-15 minute commute and it made a huge difference to me.
I have an extra 90 minutes each day because at lunch time I'm already where I want to be.

He had very consistently been on the side of improving life for people. He's thinks that people deserve to eat and to have a place to live and to receive medical care. He thinks that the government should generally allow people to do what they want if it's not hurting others.
He had rarely deviated from that and to my knowledge has never deviated from that for Americans.

‘I don’t date at all now’: one woman’s journey into the darkest corners of the manosphere

You're absolutely right, but haven't I read that they're learning to lie about their presence in the manophere? So if it's, say 10% who actively think and act that way, plus 15% passively subject themselves to it without going all in, but who aren't really judging, that's 1/4 guys who I wouldn't risk a relationship with, many of whom are actively hiding their positions. I can see why it wouldn't be worth it to date any man. Especially for someone with her experiences.
And my IRL impression is that it's way more guys than 15% who intentionally expose themselves to it, and slightly more than 10% who fully buy into the misogyny.

The Wall Street Journal Gets Community Noted For Saying Gen Zers And Millennials Are 'Splurging On Rotisserie Chickens'
Reply in thread
This is kind of true, but a little misleading. They sell it at a loss because it was about to expire. If it's reaching the sell-by date. They cook it and sell it as a rotisserie chicken to recoup the losses. They're usually only selling it at a loss because that's the alternative to throwing it out.

Blood donations have fallen to catastrophic levels. Experts say young people need to step up.
The day my mother passed, she received at least 3 bags of blood. All it brought her was a few unconscious hours. I don't have the words to describe how overwhelmingly thankful i was that day and still am for those individuals who gave their blood to my mother.

Pope punishes leading critic Cardinal Burke in second action against conservative American prelates

The American catholics who i know love Francis and think it's taken too long to get him. Anecdotal, but I think the Dallas based church would have difficulty convincing local parishes that the Catholic pope is now misinformed and the new bigot really speaks for God

Six figure tech job here. I no longer feel like I can afford Applebee's, idk about olive garden because the food is gross. Certainly can't afford drinks and dinner.
