Manufacturer issues remote kill command to disable smart vacuum after engineer blocks it from collecting data — user revives it with custom hardware and Python scripts to run offline

In case you have a robot vacuum and want to run it cloudless you can check Valetudo.

It's been running my vacuum the last 4 years and I couldn't find any downsides (There are several extra functions if you like to tinker around with home assistant and the likes)

If you have any doubts or need assistance with installing it, I would be happy to give you a hand :-)

The news is sugarcoating how revolting the Epstein files are

Distorsión of reality by linguistic manipulation.

This is straight out of 1984 book:

In the novel, "Newspeak" wasn't just about being concise; it was designed to shrink the vocabulary so much that "heretical" thoughts became literally impossible because the words for them no longer existed.

Here is a breakdown of how linguistic manipulation distorts reality, both in the book and in our world:

1. The Erasure of Nuance

In 1984, if you wanted to say something was "terrible," you just said it was ungood.

By removing "bad," "terrible," and "horrific," the emotional weight of the experience is flattened.

  • The Result: When we lose specific words for our feelings or experiences, our ability to think critically about those experiences atrophies.

got em

Rich vs Poor. This is the only separation. They don't care about color, sexuality, religion, etc.

All of that is just a distraction they use to hoard more wealth and power, and push the bottom 99% deep into slavery.

Is there in plain view, as long as you have enough billions you can be a trans Muslim and they won't care.

More time debating if EBT can be used on cooked food than Epstein papers

I recently witnessed an interaction about this.

Cashier at a supermarket is complaining about the previous customer buying "Luxury items" with the social credit card.

Mind you, those luxury items where not booze or expensive skin care products... No, there were not-the-cheapest brand of orange juice and milk.

The cashier reasoning was that if he can't afford those things, poor people shouldn't either.

So as you can see, they'd rather be angry with a mom buying decent food for their kids rather than asking themselves why everyone is getting poorer.

And yes, said customer was high on the color grading.

History will not be kind to the USA

I get your point and share your worries, but I ended up concluding that I will regret more aiding the descent to fascism than being a casualty of it.

Think of all the people that survived Nazi Germany while being a collaborator and seeing all the horrors their cowardice helped occur.

I don't think those people would have happy lives after that, I know I wouldn't.

Furthermore, I believe that if I don't act now when is somewhat safe, I will act latter down the line and would definitely get killed.

It's your choice.

Trump voter: Somebody asked him ‘To what extent are Americans' financial situations motivating you to make a deal?' Trump didn't care. I was angry. I voted for you, and you don't care about me?

Honestly If half of you country is like these people, you'd better secede and leave them try to live their bigoted selfish lives at their fullest to see what happens.

They don't have a grain of empathy, introspection, education or critical thinking.

If anything, this shitshow shown people's true colours and we know some of them are barely monkeys with guns. I dont want to live next to these assholes.
