Reddit be like

The day old reddit I gone is the day it is officially dead. Reddit is appealing to the insta audience now and it sucks. I've talked to so many people who only recently discovered reddit and they have no idea that discussion used to drive the site. It's a picture browsing site for them. The site is going down the tubes quickly so it can do an IPO I guess.

Progressives are becoming more radical as a response to right wing extremism.

I was raised republican and was completely caught up in their propaganda. During that time I would've let you starve to death while holding food if I was told you were part of the 'bad' group. You need to treat Republicans as the dangerous entity they are, don't bother being empathetic, they won't ever reciprocate.

MMO players blast "disgusting" $90 early access charge for WoW: The War Within - "We must say early and loudly that this is not okay"

I'm at Disneyland with my family RN and we mainly came because this week was insanely cheap for hotels. My hotel basically touches the convention center and there is almost no one here for blizzcon. It's dying.

The conversations I've overheard are so sad. They all justify simping for blizzard like addicts. So much random misogyny too.

I used to love blizzard games but just the people I've listened to concern me.

The complete reversal of character development is what killed it for me as well. With the same ending and removing the reversal the ending is 100x better. Just let their growth mean something instead of pissing it all away.

A stupid person would believe this.

"AI" in its current iteration is a distillation of human knowledge. It lowers the barrier to access to long standing programming libraries that make people think it is some sort of smart. It seems intelligent because it's imitating the things we have already created.

Trump fires FTC’s only two Democrats: ‘The President just illegally fired me’

This is a perfect example of why refuting bullshit is so much harder than generating it or spreading it.

The Biden admin tried several times to forgive debt and was stopped by every republican and finally the Supreme Court. They didn't drop it, they were forced to stop by Republicans after repeated attempts. If they didn't find a legal path to forgiveness, it could be clawed back easily in the future.

The Trump administration can do whatever the fuck it wants right now because Republicans are letting them with their overall majority.
