Broken Promises by the US Gov’t?! No Way.

Fun fact: veterans of the war were also functionally abandoned by the US gov and many of them headed west, creating most of the havoc that first nations there suffered.

In now-Alberta, Treaty 7 was created and done explicitly because of them creating poisoned whiskey and attacking, raping and pillaging from first nations in now-Canada. The RCMP were created as a means to prevent the attacks.

That, and AIs are the privatization and commodification of human knowledge.

They fed them the internet, then made it harder to find anything on it without going through them.

Now they are feeding them books, including rare copies, then destroying the books.

What's the most unforgivable sin done in media that you're still bitter about?

Eh, I can forgive some of the extension.
Almost all of the third movie is the battle of the five armies, which is ~ a single page in the book.

Likewise they show Gandalf et al fighting Sauron, which isnt shown in the books, but is also extremely important for Saruman as it shows that he was once good. IIRC it was actually a request from Christopher Lee himself to show it and show pre-downfall Saruman.

The online mode might flop, since part of the success of 5's online mode was that it was so generous and buggy at the start that the initial waves of online players became trillionaires in-game. This allowed subsequent waves to be preyed upon by Rockstar but also boosted by the old timers.

Nixon was not fully prosecuted or even investigated because it was a "time for healing" by Carter Ford. Point is that he was immediately forgiven.

Reagan/Bush Sr and Iran Contra was outright ignored, not even talked about by Clinton.

Bush Jr legalized torture and Obama said it was time to come together and heal as a nation and swept it under a rug.

Biden waited until the election year to prosecute Trump, so he got to walk on all but E. Jean Carroll's judgements, was even made king by SCOTUS and didnt use it to stop him or SCOTUS.

Not true.

Prior to Brian Mulroney and NAFTA, Alberta did not need to send basically all of its oil to the US for refinement. Vancouver used to have five refineries, all but one were shuttered thanks to him and NAFTA. The one that remains is the smallest of the set.

Its why the original transmountain pipeline was built to handle multiple products in both directions
