Trump cancelled the deal. With no deal, there is no longer any reason for them to follow the agreements. Trump bombed iran for the same reason previous presidents have messed with it; Iran was attempting to subvert the american petrodollar, in this case by trading with china in chinese currency as opposed to USD, which would have prevented us from being able to sieze, tax, track or sanction it as it passes through US banks, and threaten the USD as the global reserve currency.

Trump gave a speech at Fort Bragg (renamed back to Bragg after a WWII paratrooper with the same last name as the original namesake, a confederate general). He complained about people flying flags for other countries. He also said that we have contempt for the flag, that anyone who burns one should go to jail for a year

Meanwhile flag code says that a flag which touches the ground should be burned and they proudly fly confederate and nazi flags

Hallmark movies have cookie cutter plots usually involving one of the characters reuniting with someone while visiting their home town and then falling in or rekindling love. The characters tend to be divorced or in an unhappy relationship, and one of the driving forces of tension is the push for them to get with each other before the visiting party has to leave

Linus (LTT) argues that despite middling gaming performance, the Steam Machine excels as a compact desktop workstation thanks to the seamless and user-friendly experience provided by SteamOS.

He let money and fame go to his head and lost touch with what was important; his ego is more important than doing the right thing to him. Constant inaccuracies in their videos. Original employees started jumping ship because they weren't making enough. A bunch of scandals including messing up a review and tanking a startup before auctioning off the prototype the company lent them, employee harassment/verbal abuse, etc.

Framework flame war erupts over support of politically polarizing Linux projects

Most of the discourse was about Omarchy/DHH, not just Hyprland, though that was a part of it. It is not purity testing to block people who don't work well with others or are hateful like DHH from a community. If you want to bring people who want us dead into a community then everyone else is going to leave

The main problem is

  1. Np contributed to and glazes Omarchy
  2. People wonder why DHH was sponsored with hardware
  3. Generic response about "big tent" ideology to include everyone - including racists and transphobes like DHH
  4. People are upset because they don't want to be in a Nazi Bar
  5. NP makes twitter post about how people want to ascribe values to him he doesn't hold, that he's pro immigrant and pro lgbt
  6. Np responds in forum thread that they reviewed hyprland and determined that theyd improved their moderation and were ok to sponsor (monetarily)
  7. Framework responds they'll make a blog post clarifying their sponsorships
  8. Blog post coincidentally excludes omarchy
  9. People question it and basically just get a "we will get that updated" response
  10. I still dont see it there

You cant claim to be pro immigrant and pro lgbt when you actively invite white supremacists and transphobes into the community and then try to avoid responsibility for that by not commenting or not retracting support or not clarifying how you'd avoid it going forward

The project may not be political (it is) but the people who use and support the project definitely are. If you want to kick out the community by inviting Nazis, then all that will be left once those people leave will be nazis. And if you knowingly collaborate with Nazis, you are a nazi.

Density of silver: 10.49g/mL
Density of water: 1g/mL

Total mass: 1464g
Total volume: 700mL

x = volume of silver, mL
y = volume of water, mL

10.49x + 1y = 1464
x+y = 700

9.49x=764
x=80.5058mL of silver

10.49x =
10.49 × 80.5058 =

844.51g of silver

Probably an over estimate [of just the silver] due to the copper so probably more like 835-840g. [If just evaporating, the mass would be higher due to the lower density of the impurities like copper sulfate, so more around 845-850g. E.g. 5mL of copper sulfate would be 830g of silver and 18g copper sulfate = 848g]

All resigning does is give them a greater margin to win votes by. We have several chances to win a tie or majority in the house and senate

Three house seats are up for special elections, two in florida and one in NY. If they all elect democrats, there will be a tie in the houde and any bill can be blocked.

Senate votes can be held without all members present, so making sure all democrat congress members always show up and always vote gives a good chance of blocking some bills

Also in 2026 will be the midterm and we can vote republican congressmembers out, as they only have a majority and not a supermajority.
