Full Trefoil race completed by Derg

Awesome, I got mixed up with the v0.1.3 which already included that change (seemingly missed in the changelog annoyingly), I'll be pushing to get the v0.1.4 fixes and changes pushed tomorrow morning. Thanks for testing it out, and I look forward to seeing you become the orbital racing champion.

In the next update, running out of fuel will not be a lose condition on a race track, even if you cross the finish line empty. It's been interesting to see the need for different criteria based on challenge type. There's a fun new track coming in the v0.1.4 called "Gravity Slalom" I think you'll enjoy.

The way Lemmy delete post works is really annoying

Reply in thread

No. Delete means to remove from database, no recovery. Nowhere in the English language semantically will you find that "delete" implies that you can recover it. If you delete it from Lemmy, then it should be wiped, if another user saved it then there's nothing that can really be done. As far as the hardware you are executing "delete" should follow that command.

Can we ban this?

The absolute worst case for AI that I've come across is the attempt to use AI to ask job candidates questions to extract more information from them before the company has to lift a finger. It's breaking the contract that there is a respectful connection between the company and the one who is applying. Effectively, the contract is broken when the company expects the applicant to apply with never receiving any real valuable interaction, with the ability to simply click a button to reject their time investment. This is something that needs to be regulated and banned immediately. It is the worst professional use case for AI that I've experienced thus far.

I did it once, and then didn't hear back, so never again. I may have missed it, but it wasn't clear on Indeed that would be required to apply until after I already engaged, which is frustrating.
