Good bye sweet troubles

It's good to have perspective. Even in the most depraved corners of humanity. Do not get too close because the corner will grip you and never let go. But you need to know where those corners are. You learn who you are by learning who you are not.

I am not erect. I have no shame for I have witnessed it and was not charmed.

It's more the cliche of sex workers saying they'll do "anything" as a kind of innuendo without incriminating themselves. The joke is playing off the use of the word "anything"

Michael Jackson and Bob Marley in Jamaica, 1975

Immortal Technique heavily impacted my beliefs in middle school so I'm happy to hear.

On Mexican OT though. I'm from Texas originally. People will have a hard time trying to get him to stop saying it lol that's obvious already but as a chicano that did live in texas I'm telling you lol

The history of the word gets disconnected. Like they know but to them that's another time and the word isn't used the same anymore. To them it's just a casual and informal word. Friendly even. It's certainly not out of racism at least. I personally have always protested it. I didn't really grow up in Texas though so my position is a little different.

Sound of silence

There's a point where its way too obnoxious but I think it's fine as long as you find your own space. We all kind of silently claim spots in public spaces like the beach so just claim somewhere that is not too close to other people.

When I want the serenity I go off to the side where no one is. I don't think it's a big deal.

Men who were completely lost in their 20's, and possibly hit rock bottom. How did you manage to turn things around?

5 grams of mushrooms and wanting to be the best man I could be for my partner. She dealt with me a lot trying to recover from a meth addiction and all my mental health issues. I basically just kept trying different therapists, kept writing and kept forcing myself out of my comfort zone. It's easier said than done and took years of rewiring. The shrooms are unnecessary but worked for me. I feel like therapy and meditation could give the same therapeutic results (not experience). A lot of things didn't work. Bad reactions to medications, relapses, shutting down, ect. It was super ugly. I still have things to work on but I'm a better man than my dad was at least. What keeps me going is seeing how far I've come. It's like the gym. Working out is hard but when you realize how much progress youve made you want to keep going because you already proved to yourself putting the work in actually works. Even if it is slow.

Never counted my days sober but it's been over 5 years since meth. I'm married now. I cann actually hold down jobs now instead of no call no showing because I'm too anxious to show up. I'm way less reactionary than before.

I definitely needed somebody to support me in the process. Abusive childhood background. Dropped out and got into drugs. I don't think it needs to be a romantic partner but having someone does really help. Somebody who will hold you accountable when you're slipping. Its a fight with the self.

UFC to pay White House fighters in crypto issued by Trump company

Reply in thread

Getting UFC fighters to unionize on a cause might be an impossible task. They've all been complaining about their pay their whole careers but won't unionize. The one time they did the fighters. just settled for payouts instead of an actual change in the company.

I love the sport and some of the fighters but I hate UFC and how much of a bitch these fighters are to the organization (and trump).

Edit: typos

Yeah people seem to forget that image and video manipulation has been around forever. It's just AI made it to where anyone can do it (and faster). Not just the people with the know-how and time to learn the programs.
