A little hyperbolic, methinks

Idk I mean that sounds ideal but I also think once someone has been a blight for all life on the planet for decades it goes a bit beyond being just "someone I disagree with". Curious if, in your mind, there is any hypothetical behavior or line to cross after which advocating murder does become acceptable?
Sometimes I also question if he does actually have loved ones or just sycophants and boot lickers but you never know maybe you are right

The big assumption here is that the website had time or money invested in it. I feel like the vast majority of websites these days are just ai garbage with enough ads to prevent you from even reading the thing and give your computer herpies as a bonus. The era of good faith advertising where the ads were reasonable and balanced with the quality of content is long gone. Most sites are now explicitly designed for exploitive data harvesting and endless ad delivery.
Of course, some websites are exceptions to this and adblock can easily be toggled off for those websites if you really want to support them. Taking off protections for a trusted partner though is quite different from raw dogging the whole internet

I'll take that pledge without even visiting your country! Then again when I do!
Seriously though, this regime is terrible and some of us are protesting every opportunity we can get. I'll be the first to admit America has deeply rooted problems but some of us are trying to fix it and would like to not be treated like shit for the actions of the magats

I'm always a bit dumbfounded how many people are apparently fine with this sort of thing. I wish this was obviously a death sentence or pr nightmare for the service but in practice it must not be for a lot of people, enough to make it worth attempting.

But how would they be able to live on that?

I mean you are right they probably would leave but I don't think pandering to them becomes the right answer. Also, moving themselves is much easier than moving their companies.

What is hexbear?
Reply in thread
This is by far the best and most informative answer. The only thing it's missing as another couple commenters pointed out is hexbear is all about their oversized memes and emojis, making anytime you happen upon one of their posts extremely conspicuous (even if politics aren't being discussed).

One Neighborhood’s ‘Bizarre Culture War’ Over Bike Lanes

It's worth noting that adding transit here is definitely the best option, as elderly can start to be less safe drivers too for a whole variety of reasons and most states have fairly poor practices for catching that before someone gets hurt. There seems to be an opinion that when you can no longer bike or walk you can always drive which is not the order that often does or should go in.
