Totally agree. Went all-in on Linux earlier this year and it was all working pretty good but there is really no solution when all your buddies are playing fortnite.

The multiple "game streaming" services our there wasn't really cutting it either. I recall reading that Microsoft was going to be more strict with allowing kernel level anticheat but I don't remember exactly where in saw that and I'm too lazy to Google. I hope with all the new PC handhelds coming out (steam deck, etc), that major companies start pushing for this or figuring out a workaround.

Yea she seems like she shares similar views. I hope to see more progressive politicians in my lifetime that actually inspire and force change. The future looks very bleak for progressivism in the US right now though.

Had a great Father's Day with my kids yesterday. They're both pretty young (3 and 1) and have been quite frustrating lately. This weekend was pretty fun though and I didn't feel stressed at all.

Right now I am back and forth. The protests seem to have had an effect on my feed as the content seems less interesting to me. Maybe that's all in my head though. Lemmy is what I've been looking for though. The discussion is decent. Waiting for a good mobile app and I'd likely never go back to Reddit. Just sort of flipping back and forth right now, as I said.
