You may have already seen this, but there is a web app for Lemmy that looks and functions very similar to Apollo:

https://wefwef.app/

I’ve been trying it today, and it’s pretty good.

WTF! i been on lemmy for 2 weeks and this is my first time seeing this! Thanks

e: This is friggin amazing!

lemmy.world

I'm just curious; why is it a web app and not something you can download? The black bar in the bottom of the screen makes it feel weird, also the fact that upvote/downvote colors are reversed. Other than that, it soothens my withdrawals from Apollo, and I think I'll be using it a fair amount alongside Memmy (which feels nice, it's not a 100% carbon copy, but familiar)

13

Click the share button and save it your home screen it’ll save and operate as an app. It’s a web app just a new build option that makes it easier for something to be accessible in multiple ways.

4

It's insane because the dev has only been working on this for three weeks. And it's the best progressive web app I've ever seen. Almost feels native on my iPhone other than the lack of haptic feedback.

Damn... I hadn't been paying attention and thought that was actually exclusively an iOS app when I'd seen it mentioned before... Looks interesting.

25

Nah, it’s for everyone.

And if you save it to your Home Screen as an app it feels really good to use.

18

Yes... This is what I learned and the reason for my comment. It looks very interesting as I said. Not bad at all.

Holy shit, the developer has put some serious work in. I didn’t know web apps could be that good. There’s some insane attention to detail going on here

Wow! It really does feel very similar to Apollo. It will undoubtedly make the transition easier.

Thanks!

15

Check out Memmy if you haven’t already. It’s the best IOS Lemmy app I’ve tried by far, and really reminds me of Apollo.

This web app is really nice too though. It’s cool that we’re getting such good options.

3

+1

Incredible, and the dev keeps updating it like twice a day.

I'm also running a copy alongside my instance, thelemmy.club at app.thelemmy.club

I never was really fond of web apps but this is great.

8

Wefwef feels like home. I was using Apollo for years and this feels very natural

4

lemmy.world

If only this was a native ios app 😭

2

It’s preeeettty close if you save it to your desktop. There’s obviously still work to do, but the dev making lots of updates all the time.

I’m currently using this exactly like I was using Apollo. I have it as a window in Stage Manager on my iPad off to the side while I do work. It’s great.

2

I said this in another comment, but check out Memmy if you haven’t already! It’s the best I’ve used so far and totally reminds me of Apollo.

Neurodivergence makes a lot of sense.

Back on reddit most of autism, adhd aspie memes etc subs felt way more friendly and generally better. Way nicer experience

Take into account ND people generally being more ... strict to moral rules (can't browse reddit without guilt anymore)

12

Take into account ND people generally being more … strict to moral rules

Didn't consider that, but it makes sense. Being moral is important to me, but also practicality - I will visit reddit for info if needed (always with ads blocked), but won't post or comment.

Could someone please explain to me that white/not white chart? What is white and not white?

I swear I actually don't know, and I am kind of embarrassed to ask but I just want to know. Is it strictly skin color, like is there an RGBs value that if a person averages a darker saturation then they are not white, and above that bar they are white? Or is it an aggregate of ethnicities that fall into the category of "white"?

Seriously if anyone could help me understand here. I got into an argument with someone not long ago because I said white is not a race, and her friends were backing her up as well.

I just wanna understand.

2

I think usually ethnicity is a better way of identifying as that takes into account historical, cultural and ancestual similatities within people, rather than race which is mainly concerned with skin colour and physical differences. Race is seeminly a more outdated concept.

In this scenario I would assume White refers to 'of european / american decent'.

Though someone correct me if I'm off the mark there!

6
wewbullreply
feddit.uk

You're right. White is not a race. Neither is black, brown or purple. People have different levels of melanin in their skin, and that's it. People come from different cultures, and have different norms / frames of reference. That's where diversity of opinion comes from.

To boil that down to a binary categorisation based on literal skin colour is reductionist to say the least. Some might be less generous.

5

The explanation that made the most sense to me is that yes, there is no such thing as race, it's genetically insignificant. However as a historical construct, we still have to take it into account in order to dismantle things like systemic racism.

2

It is difficult and not that black and white (pun not intended). I would personally say that for external factors it is skin color. Like how other people perceive you. That's why the term 'white-passing' exists. But for internal factors it is different. Like, for example, I am a quarter black. But just like a lot of people who are a quarter black or anything, I look white. So to other people I am white because they can only see skin color, but I know that's not the whole truth because I know my family history. But I am still given privileges in society purely based on the fact that I look white that people with darker skin don't get. I have fully black friend and when we were in high school (didn't know each other back then yet) we both skipped school so much that we got in trouble with attendance laws in our country. We did the exact same thing, and got community service, but I, as a 'white' girl, got to spend it helping out a library, while he, a black young man, had to pick trash at the side of the road.

It is to some extent also influenced by ethnicity, more so in the past than now, like how Italians and the Irish weren't considered white when they immigrated to America by the people of English descent. But because of the history of colonialism and slavery by majority white countries over majority non-white countries, it has almost exclusively connotations to skin color now.

Of course, 'race', in the biological sense, doesn't actually exist in humans. We're all the same race, homo sapiens. But we still use the word race today as a shorthand because historically, when people didn't have as much knowledge about biology as we do now, people did actually think the different skin colors were different human races. So, biologically, neither white nor black nor Latino nor Asian nor whatever is an actual race, but socially, societally speaking, it is a useful shorthand for skin color because of difference in treatment, privilege, education, income, etc etc that comes with it from centuries of oppression, colonialism, slavery, exploitation and ('scientific') racism.

4

That wiki was an amazing read, and it was pretty funny seeing some of Aristotle's earlier shitposts. Too dark? You're an L. Too pasty? You are basically a woman. Somewhere in the middle? You are a gigachad.

Some relevant quotes I liked:

Contemporary anthropologists and other scientists, while recognizing the reality of biological variation between different human populations, regard the concept of a unified, distinguishable "White race" as a social construct with no scientific basis.

"White, black, and brown are abridged, abstracted versions of colonizer, slave, and colonized."

Irene Silverblatt

Blacks and indios were subject to tribute obligations and forbidden to bear arms, and black and indio women were forbidden to wear jewels, silk, or precious metals in early colonial Mexico and Peru.

Those pardos (people with dark skin) and mulattos (people of mixed African and European ancestry) with resources largely sought to evade these restrictions by passing as White.

A brief royal offer to buy the privileges of Whiteness for a substantial sum of money attracted fifteen applicants before pressure from White elites ended the practice.

Real life if is a simulation and we're inside a videogame

kbin.social

I'm on kbin. It's just... lightweight reddit basically. I dig it. The one thing we're all going to lose is the content from 15 years of reddit though. Can't just magically recreate or replace that in any short time frame.

27

It's just... lightweight reddit basically. I dig it.

One could say you... digg it.

22

That content isn't active discussions anymore, just archive to be searched. It'll still be there. Just make sure you make new content in the fediverse.

14
lemmy.world

Absolutely, people act like swapping over is no biggie, but there were all kinds of posts that led to obscure answers and provided such simple and pertinent information. Don’t know something, try a google then ask on reddit and someone will be either super helpful or condescending. It’s going to take a LOOOOOOOONG time for people to really swap if ever.

9
lemmy.world

You know, there's a huge difference between using reddit to find answers/solutions and actually adding content yourself. I've swapped in that I'm not posting/commenting on reddit anymore.

I can imagine I will be directed to reddit a lot when in search of specific information, but I'm blocking ads so they won't get money from that and basically I'll just be 'taking' from them, adding nothing of value really.

8

Same. I'm fine with using reddit for my own benefit, but refuse to give anything to them besides website visit counts.

2

conversations over 2 weeks on reddit are entirely dead, though. People think you're a lunatic for commenting on something over 5 days old, and while older posts are interesting, it's not the way sites like this are used. Maybe for searches for information, but not conversation.

8

It very much feels like early Reddit, i do hope for more content but honestly don't really want it to grow as much as Reddit did and thus become like it

15

Agreed. It's a breath of fresh air from the Reddit mileu, which has seemed to have grown so stale, predictable, and hostile over the years.

8
Buckeyereply
lemmy.world

I had stopped participating in a lot of subreddits I had been really active in because they just became so large there felt like no point.

7

I feel like most of my comments on Reddit were never even read. Like the AskReddit threads with 20K comments. I dont want to scroll through them all, I'll just read the top comments and move on. I assume others do the same so I feel like if you dont post when it's a new postz your comment gets buried among the others

3

I think a lot of moderators are just going to back down and return to business-as-usual from tomorrow. Reddit will suffer as a business but this isn't going to downright kill the site. Unlike say... Tumblr or OnlyFans, Reddit has a far more diverse clientele and many of them couldn't give a shit about third-party apps.

These half-arsed protests staged after the 14th June have told me that most of Reddit's mods are fucking cowards who are more afraid of losing their status as internet janitors than all the third-party apps.

Reddit's moderators could have easily brought the site to its knees if they just collectively stopped enforcing rules (including site-wide ones), removed Automoderator, unbanned everybody, then told the community to just go nuts.

The mods of /r/interestingasfuck had the right idea by encouraging users to post NSFW content, since this would have chased away advertisers in droves.

I mean the whole "sexy pics of John Oliver" protest that /r/pics had isn't going to chase away advertisers and was something that Spez could easily ignore, but having your content displayed alongside a flood of explicit pornographic images definitely will.

123

Even as somebody who has never used, and will likely never need Apollo, I am really grateful for what he did. However unintentionally, I think he ripped the mask off how rotten the management structure was. It's one thing to sell ads and collect hidden metadata. Pretty much all the apps do it. But the whole way Reddit treated him was beyond despicable.

110

Over a decade lurking on reddit; never posted. Just made a lemmy account. I don't need lemmy to be "the next big thing"... just need it to not be overrun by bots and astroturfing. Hopefully some of the smaller subs I visit move over.

90

Holy shit this is about to be the top post for the instance, welcome, everyone who's new!!! be sure to check the Communities page for World.

I just joined Lemmy today after uninstalling Reddit Is Fun. It was absolutely surreal just how much habit was in pulling out my phone and pressing the space where RIF used to be. Decided I'm kind of mostly done with Reddit other than quick information look ups on the website.

So here I am! First post! The only constant in life is change. Hello everyone, I hope we all get along! :)

79

Was sent here by RIF. Thanks for everything buddy your app was perfect

62

One more day until Reddit Isn't Fun... :(

It's been a good run, but without RiF the site is worthless.

That being said, it paves the way for the Fediverse to grow, so rather than celebrating the end of an era, I'm enjoying the birth of a new one.

42

Yup. RIF forever stuck on reddit alternatives for me 😭. Out with the shitty old, upwards and onwards I guess.

5

Agreed! I've been using RIF for 10+ years and even though I knew it was coming I still went to check it today :(

Haven't missed twitter for a minute since switching to Mastodon, I'm sure Lemmy will be the same.

1

I crisis can be an opportunity.

It's unlikely that reddit was the best site possible for us. We know how to improve it.

-8

Man, if you told me a couple months ago, that I would stop using Reddit, I wouldn't believe you. I've been on it over a decade. It took Spez ONE MONTH to undo everything and make that a reality.

41

The vibrant ecosystem of third party apps is what made Reddit, from what I've heard even the official app is a reskin of what used to be a third party apps. Pushing that ecosystem to Lemmy (I have 7 actively developing Lemmy apps installed on my phone) could spell eventual death for Reddit, and was a very unwise long term decision.

40

Excited for Lemmy.

Reddit was it was good while it lasted, but it was just a container for online communities. The AP protocol is superior to a centralized model in every way.

Onwards you beautiful nerds!

40

I'm a Relay user which is one of the few apps that are going to stick around, but I still opted out of Reddit anyway. As a mod, spez arrogance offends me.

40

Already seeing high latency for our instance. Guessing everyone realized the impending doom and created accounts on one of the easier instances to join. Welcome, fellow lemmings!

37

RIF was part of my life for a decade. It's crazy how emotional this experience has been. It feels like losing a home, a community, everything because some fuckface won't find a compromise.

32

I lost RARBG and then Reddit both in one month. Both I would go to daily.

I felt, and still do feel a sense of hollowness that their familiarity had filled.

14

Just joined the Lemmy-verse and getting everything setup. Hope u/spez rots in hell

30

Highly recommend purging / editing your comments before you go. I used PowerDeleteSuite for my main and alt accounts and it worked really well. If you've got thousands of comments and heaps of data it'll take ages, but it's an important step, leave them with nothing they can monetize

27
sh.itjust.works

i'm doubting there will be a large exodus... why wouldn't they be here already?

27
lemmy.world

There will be some but I doubt that it will be huge enough for Reddit to care. People will use their app, generate ad money. People willing to have ads in their experience probably have a higher tolerance for low quality posts, so any moderation changes likely won't be killer. That's my pessimistic take.

27
lemmy.world

I think the moderation changes will affect even the most apathetic user in the end. I'm already seeing some of my subs start locking threads more readily instead of trying to keep the discussion going. If that becomes the norm, the value of Reddit from both a business and user perspective will take a serious hit.

10
Stranglereply

The post about the Supreme Court and affirmative action was locked on the news sub

What kind of sense does that make? The number 1 post on r/all …. Locked for new comments? Must not have liked what people were posting about it.

Which is just terrible moderation

4

I was thinking of the r/SCOTUS sub. Usually much more in-depth legal discussion there.

Nope, that got locked too, despite only being 50k members.

It took me a while to find the energy to move over to here. I still haven't gone to look for a lot of the equivalent communities that I had on Reddit. Frankly I am still using Apollo as if nothing has changed, despite knowing it will stop working hours from now. I reckon there are plenty of people who need the actual impetus from it stopping working to actually change over to an alternative.

15

Same, finally got the energy to figure out what lemmy was and switch over last night.

3

And ladies. We are here as well. I started an audiobook sub for those who are interested

26

another RIF user checking in. Good to have a place to come to. Let's hope this turns into something really good

26

I hope Reddit fully dies off- that site is a cesspool and deserves to meet a fate similar to tumblr & myspace.

26

First comment. Looking forward to the new(ish) community full of familiar faces.

I have a weird request to the other Redfugees: I had considered going through and nuking my entire post history for all of my accounts. But then I realized that a lot of the advice that I've given on /linux and /python would be lost. I'm not a master at either, but I like to think that I've helped people out.

So before deleting everything as a (justified!) middle finger to a terrible CEO, take into account that what you've written is a part of a tapestry of internet history. 99.99% is trite. But you never know what future generations will find interesting or useful.

Just my $0.02.

26

Stoked to be a part of the new community. Still have trouble explaining to my friends exactly what the fediverse is in simple terms without making it seem more complicated than it is

24

Been an active redditor since 2009 when my friend showed it to me, and exclusively on RIF since starting to use it on a smartphone. I've definitely felt it getting worse over the years (reddit, not the immaculate perfection that was RIF) so maybe this is just what the doctor ordered. Sorry oldheads for being part of the wave of newbs but you're stuck with us now! Take it up with spez the greedy little pigboy.

24

RIP Baconreader, been on it for the better part of a decade and the official app can't come close. This is a nice change of pace though, and I don't mind moving over at all.

22

just hit both of my accounts, nearly 12 years old on the older one, with power delete suite. edited and then deleted my whole post history and then deleted the accounts.

22

Abandoned the Reddit ship when RIF went down. It's sad to see something go I've been using for the better part of 15 years. But, new things will take its place and reddit will probably die bc of their stubborn greed.

21

Rest in peace beautiful RIF 😥 10+ years went by quickly! Time for new adventures now with both old and hopefully new family at Lemmy!

21

It's an odd feeling. I knew this was coming but could still check Reddit as I usually did via Boost. Now they're all shutting down and there's no option besides their own shitty app. No thanks.

Goodbye Sync for Reddit...

And hello Sync for Lemmy (soon)!

19

I really wish more apps were straight up switching to Lemmy like this.

13

15 year reddit user finally migrating over. Never thought I would leave but here we go.

19

Got here after RIF died, so sorry for being part of the chaos.

I don't post much, but I hope I'll be a positive addition here.

16

Honored to be here. Hopefully the scaling issues Lemmy might run into isn't too much.

16

For some of us the final day was weeks ago. It’s time to let go and focus on what you have. Why are we all still obsessing over ducking Reddit. It’s over. Done.

15

Just moved in, hoping for the community to grow here as big and bigger than reddit's community.

15

I'm actually pretty optimistic about reddit in fedi!

Twitter had specific personalities that needed to move for me to join, but Reddit was just anonymous shitposts.

If the feed updates often enough, this is a perfect drop in replacement. Also, crossposting here from Reddit is an easy way to generate content 🤷‍♀️

Someone scrape Reddit and post it all here. Thxxxxxx.

15

My Sync just stopped working, says I am rate limited with 0 calls remaining.

Guess it's the end of an era and start of a new.

15

Reddit was a fucking garbage dump and I am glad it's finally going to be dead. Long live literally any new social media platform so long as it doesn't engender a culture of nastiness, vitriol and hate.

14

BaconReader is down now. This is my first comment on Lemmy after 10 years using that app. Time for something new

14

CYA REDDIT!! 8 year old account all deleted and everything I modded is handed down :)

14

12 year reddit user that just came here after RIF went down. Excited to meet you all here! It's my first comment and may there be many, many more.

14

Don’t mind me just commenting on here to see if I created the profile correctly

14

I guess reddit really doesn't want my engagement and ad revenue because I don't sit at my computer all day and RIF was my break time fun. I'm not going to stop using reddit right away but it's going to be limited since it's computer access only now and I wonder how much of an impact this change will be and if it will be enough to boot leadership out.

14

Hello Lemmy!

Just deleted my 9 year old reddit account. Fuck those guys. What's doin?

14

Once Boost shuts down I'll have no reason to use Reddit anymore. Happy to join everyone here!

13

RIF user moving in! Hello to all reddit refugees. Now to train myself not to tap on the app icon 500 times a day....

12

Those API changes will be the death of Reddit. When I glanced at RIF today in my app list and remembered it was offline, that brought me here finally. I held out hope that Spez wouldn't stand his ground but he did and now here we are. And this is my first post here, first of many. I hope this place thrives.

12

RIP in peace RIF, and thank you.

I'm a fan of this place so far and glad to be part of the migration.

12

Former Boost user happy with the new home. Also, Boost is being ported to Lemmy :)

12

Reddit is just mad they made a better UX then they did. I mean...they freaking bought alien blue....and threw it in the trash.

11

Former RIF user, sad to see the app go, finna go drink a toast to it, and also going to go help with the downfall of reddit, but I'm happy to be here.

11

Hiya Lemmy.world, another Reddit refugee here, pleased to join you fine folk.

11

Yeah, I just switched to Lemmy. Also made a mastodon account. Everyone that cares the slightest bit about Reddit seems to be leaving, the ones that mever really contributed seem to be staying for now. Spam bots and bad content will ruin the platform fast enough, they're going to be the next Digg in a few years.

10

My first time here as I just finished signing up. 10 plus years of Reddit up in smoke. Hope we don't break anything.

10

I already have porn popping up on my feed here and there.

Oh boy, tomorrow I will wake up to the best “told you so” moment ever.

10

There goes RiF, so there goes me. Almost 12 years of Reddit, gone.

PSA: You can use browser scripts to securely delete your posts and comments. Don't gift Reddit your content. Force search engines to scrub dead Reddit links from their results.

10

Moving away from a 15+ year account on Reddit. Faithful Sync user until today.

Feels like the way they handled the monetization of the API just went against the original Reddit ethos. Its been a fun ride there but I can't help but look for something else so here I am.

10

Change is good. I'm looking forward to the fresh take Lemmy will have.

9

It's going to be fun see even the apps that remain no longer being served porn. They're repating the tumblr idiocy. But I understand it's because it's for their planned IPO and investors dislike that stuff.

9

I'll add the obligatory farewell to RIF - "the app I was happy to pay for". This seems like an interesting alternative - I hope the back end is up for it! I won't be going back to Reddit on principle.

9

14 year reddit account... Somewhat late to the party here... Happy to help crash things. Lets move the needle forward for decentralized infrastructure.

9

It was a good ride. Had a great time with RiF, gonna leave it on my phone as a reminder for all the good times. Rif is fun Golden Platinum you will be missed.

8

Yep! I have a reminder in my calendar: "Delete reddit user". 11 years of contributions gone. Already deleted all posts and comments, but kept the user back so that if anyone's keeping score, it counts.

8

Former Apollo user checking in! It’s oddly exciting finally trying something new after being on the same platform for so long. March of progress and all.

8

Fellow RIFugee here moving in to the Fediverse. After 8 years, the moment I opened RIF and could no longer refresh my feed, it felt like the end of a chapter of my life. With every ending comes with new beginnings, so here's to Lemmy and the Fediverse!

8

Looks like Boosters have migrated here .. hope reddit registers a catastrophic drop in activity lol. Yes im bitter.

8

I give this site 15 years max before it turns to shit. Should be a fun ride.

8

Apollo is dead. There it goes

See everyone on the other side of the impending flood of users

8

10 years on RIF and Apollo... but this here feels great. Glad to have such a nice alternative without the baggage

8

I can't even load comments on this post. Who knows if anyone can even read what I'm writing now lol.

It's happening! This is what a DDOS attack peak performance looks like.

8

Glad to be joining this new adventure with so many of y’all. Let’s see where this takes us lads!

7
kbin.social

Tonight I deleted seven accounts that I started between three and ten years ago. No going back now.

7

Don't even dare search for my reddit account... TheJollyBrancher. Tales of horror are all that is to follow.

2

Started on RiF but changed to Boost. I'd say I was angry Reddit is doing this but honestly I'm just sad this is how it ends up.

6

With all the errors I get just trying to browse, I don't think I made it here before the rest of the refugees. :(

6

Leaving Reddit. Hello Fediverse! I will be much more active in posting and commenting on the Fediverse than I was before on Reddit.

6

Still haven't seen any goodbyes from my 3rd party app (Relay). They actually pushed an update a day or two ago >_>

6
lemmy.world

Lemmy has been great so far. I’ll definitely miss Apollo (and Alien Blue!) but the future looks bright for Lemmy.

6

I loved alien blue! Migrated to a few different apps after that stopped and settled on apollo. AB was awesome, and while i liked apollo (and bacon reader FTM) i always liked AB better.

2

I am here now after Sync Now was removed. I really like the way it's setup.

6

Gentlemen, Ladies, it's been an honour. Time to go down with the ship....

5

So just got on Lemmy.world using the memmy app. Made it super simple to join which I feel will really help this grow as the less tech savvy will be able to join.

5

I'm already finding I like this better than reddit. Although, the numerous account sign ups based on community you go to is a little confusing. I might be doing it wrong though, but I like what I see so far.

Also fuck spez, from a former Apollo User <3

5

Midwest.social I will serveriveas long as I've got cash for more sever space I know I will survive I've got all this space to get and all this time to get ready I WILL SURVIVE

5

Seeing the Majora's Mask photo made me smile, and I hope most popular instances don't crash too much / don't have scaling issues

4

Reddit was RiF for me. I don't like Tildes so can't follow TalkLittle to his new app. What's everyone using for Lemmy? Jerboa started crashing with the latest updates, so I'm trying Connect for Lemmy. It's ok. Would like to give a few other apps a crack too.

4

I wonder how many people who didn't understand Reddit that well and just used it to scroll r/aww just woke up to disabled third party apps one day and figure that Reddit went under. I have to imagine they lost less internet literate users.

4

Also if anyone has a link to the instance population currently, would love to see it.

Power deleted everything except few subs related to some Minecraft servers I played.

Then I set up leachblock to redirect my attempts to reach reddit.com and *.reddit.com to Lemmy instead. (Gotta overcome that muscle memory) Modern search has gotten so bad that Lemmy could easily become a better resource than Google. I'm already finding quality discussions that capture the phpBB feel of the early 2000s internet.

So finally Apollo is dead, and funnily enough June 30 was my 5th year anniversary on Reddit, it's now also my cake day on here so there's that!

i kinda doubt that there will be hordes joining Lemmy. Most who cares already migrated

Sync user here. Love lemmy so far, hope more people will use it to make it even better

lemmy may have growth pains, but I don't expect reddit exit to be a crash more than a slow burn.

Yeah. Apollo is finally done. App stopped working for me 5 minutes ago - 6:15pm CST.

Well, hello Lemmy!

3

Maybe I'll be less of a lurker here than I was on Reddit.

It’s gonna be sad saying goodbye my account but fuck spez

Quick note to anyone looking for an app for Lemmy on Android, if you open lemmy.world (not sure about other instances) in Chrome, click the 3 dots and select "install app" and the website will be installed as a webapp on your device and it works very well.

Also if you're on iOS I believe this functionality is coming in the next update around September.

Another rif and apollo refuge. Curious to see what lemmy will bring from this day on.

I hope Lemmy really takes off! Deleting my Reddit account tonight. This is the way.

I'm looking forward to the Reddit shills joining us in 6 months time when they realise the content makers have disappeared

I moved over here the first day of the blackout but went back earlier today and deleted my posts and account. Welcome to all the newcomers!

Let's just say I haven't left the much to reddit dispite years of content 😅

I need to remember to screenshot the Forza Horizon 5 tunes for this week before it is too late.

Surely people who want to quit Reddit and try out Lemmy or Kbin will have already done it by now?
