My Raspberry Pi SD card finally died after almost 10 years, and I was hosting Pi-Hole on it. After a year of Pi-Hole I didn't realize how many things had freaken ads. They pop up everywhere! I really need to get a new SD card :(

People on LinkedIn always post some BS motivational crap like "look at this tree, it never gave up! Take inspiration from it!". Very annoying

I know a lot of workplaces/bosses don't like it, but I'm of the opinion that your time off is your time off. It doesn't matter if you're in town or out of town, have the ability to get to work or not, if you have scheduled time off, you shouldn't have to make any excuses as to why you're not at work.

I used to not like music at all and 15 year old me would have probably responded just like this guy. But for me it was more that I didn't know what I liked until I heard it. Everyone around me exclusively listened to top 40 and RnB, or techno/house. I seriously thought there was something wrong with me cos I hated everything I heard. And then I heard metal for the first time, and everything changed.

It was the greatest game ever.. 20 years ago :) playing a crass game as a crass teenager made it an amazing experience. I do think some of the design decisions/pacing/controls would feel extremely dated now

I've reeeaaaally gotten into the rogue-like/lite genre. Dead Cells, Hades, Slay the Spire, FTL, Vampire Survivors... Just endlessly fun and entertaining. Also for all you Vampires lovers, I just picked up a game called Halls of Torment during the Steam sale for cheap. Super fun "vampires-like"

I've been messing around with Linux VMs and have gotten kernel panic a lot lately. Always gives me a chuckle

But this is why things like The Boys and Invincible are doing so well right. They parody the super hero movie tropes, as well as modern day life and media. The Watchmen movie as it exists was just fine for what it was, but instead of dark parody, like its source material, it went full-on blockbuster superhero. If it was released today and done well, I think it would be a hit

The worst is when you get them up, but because of the combat order, the next enemy downs them again. Ugh
