Susan Collins voted for a supreme court justice who overturned Roe v. Wade. She is not happy when people ask her about it.
She should go on a Nuremberg-style trial, and then live the rest of her life in a small solitary confinement.

It is okay to masturbate.
Sexuality is a physiological need, not an addiction put into you through subliminal messaging (unless you're some kind of ace). In fact, it is also good for your mental health.

That's why I wrote "some", because it varies from people to people.

20 years ago things weren’t so shit
Stuff like that was also kind of present in the past.
My non-gamer friends suddenly became gamers thanks to 3D games.
I remember people telling me not to buy a video game controller, because everything will be motion controls in the future.
My stepfather wanted to cut our cable TV internet the moment 3G modems came out. He even talked about Soviet TVs with wired remotes to try to convince me and my mother.
My late stepmother accepted that I won't go to a trade school to become some kind of repairman after Facebook became popular, although she thought "software developer" was the same as "CNC machine programmer".
I call this phenomenon "normietech", and AI is the worst example of it.

What does it mean for a programming language to be AI slop?
Though Rust suffers from the same kind of toxic positive hype that is also driving AI, it's not slop so far.
D has some bigger issues, as some community members, especially discord member Serg Gini, think we need to embrace AI as much as possible, including straight out vibe coding in the standard library and the compiler, this allegedly already led to issues with the lesser used Dcompute (GPU, etc.) target. Some community members (including me) are thinking about creating a fork, with our own improvements on the language that would make it better to use (such as fixing opApply) rather than chasing trends dictated by tech oligarchs in the hopes of getting tech oligarch money, and hustlebro users that like to LARP as software devs.

I got this when asked about a white person.

Philips shouldn't exist anymore. Torx plus is the champ
Because Philips screws were supposed to cam out, to stop overtightening on airplanes.
Maybe we shouldn't use Philips screws for non-aviation purposes.

PINE64 is Halting its Linux Hardware Line, and The "AI" Bubble is to Blame
Reply in thread
Eventually, all "it's just a tool" devs I knew eventually ended up doing straight out vibe coding. Any "AI assisted" stuff is just a waste of time, you either end up wasting time fixing the result to the point you could just done it without AI, or realize that AI is already "good enough".

All while Linus Torvalds is getting more and more into vibe coding. (Maybe it's time for me to fork the kernel?)

Okay, where can I buy them, below the price of "western" RAM?

And when the Eastern Bloc dissolved, government owned corporations got sold off to western ones, for pennies, all to be shut down in a few weeks. If not, usually they got boycotted, because the kids finally could buy western brands, which made you look cool among your peers.

Don't paste the AI.
You can use AI. Seriously! It's a great tool for drafting. Just read what it gave to you , then write your own version, or polish the text. Don't be a middleman between it and the answer.

Bun 1.4 Rust rewrite is not looking good

Rust is not the catch all solution its boosters are selling as. If anything, it has its own issues, such as its quite bad at game dev stuff, even if bevy exists.
