feddit.de hat auch schon einige Instanzen geblockt. https://feddit.de/instances hier einfach mal in die "Blocked Instances" schauen. Da sind viele größere Instanzen dabei (bspw. lemmynsfw.com als größte Instanz für NSFW / Porn Inhalte).

Ich verstehe Lemmy mittlerweile eher als "Verbundene Foren" Forum A kann mit B verbunden sein. Wenn es bei A aber darum geht das Pferde super cool sind und in B geht's darum das Pferde Kacke sind, dann werden die Foren sich halt gegenseitig nicht verküpfen.

Wenn ich alles sehen will, muss ich zwangsläufig auf mehreren Instanzen Accounts anlegen. Das ist im Vergleich zu Reddit einfach ein riesengroßer Nachteil und ich hoffe, dass sich da in Zukunft was tut. Es würde bspw. schon helfen in der App oder einem Custom-Frontend für Lemmy mehrere Accounts zu haben die dann gemeinsam den Feed füllen, damit man beim scrollen einen kompletten Feed mit allen Inhalten hat.

Ein großer Punkt wird vermutlich sein, dass Jerboa (die offizielle Android App für Lemmy) nicht mit 0.17 Instanzen läuft. Oder auch die Probleme im All-Feed mit den nachladenden Posts.

0.18 hat das alles behoben, aber dann wiederrum viele andere Probleme mitgebracht und unter anderem Captchas rausgeschmissen, was Bot-Registrierungen Tür und Tor geöffnet hat. Deshalb wurde jetzt lange auf nen brauchbares 0.18er release gewartet, unabhängig davon, ob es ne RC ist oder nicht. Man wollte vermutlich nicht noch länger auf Jerboa support verzichten und den, am Desktop quasi unbenutzbaren All Feed hinnehmen.

Aber: Nimm das mit ner Prise Salz. Ich bin kann auch nur mutmaßen. :)

Soweit ich das mittlerweile verstanden habe, werden Posts von "verknüpften" Communites aus anderen Instanzen auf den Server der anderen Instanz gespiegelt. Ergo wäre der illegale Content dann auch auf dem Server der deutschen Instanz, was dafür sorgt, dass der Hoster eben dieser deutschen Instanz Probleme kriegen könnte.

Ich würde unterschreiben, dass einige Games nicht day1 laufen und in Ausnahmefällen hatte ich auch Games die unter Linux bei mir grottige Performance hatten (Jedi Survivor z.B.), aber in den allermeisten Fällen gab es höchstens Probleme mit Anti-Cheat Software, weshalb einige Multiplayer Games nicht laufen (da tut sich aber auch seit nem Jahr was).

I see that you dedicated a paragraph to NTFS. There are quite a lot of people saying there are problems with gaming on Linux using an NTFS drive but I've rarely (never?!) seen anyone actually having problems with it. I myself have been dual booting for years and some games are on an NTFS drive shared between Linux and windows for convenience and I never had any issues besides the fact I had to disable fast reboot in Windows.

If I'm not mistaken Tagesschau reported that the organizers planned 10.000 people to attend. Let's say the 160k is a high estimate I think it's safe to say there were around 100k people so ten times more than originally planned. It's a huge win after the past few months and years where most protests in Germany were right wing protests.

Am I stupid or are the AMD requirements kinda off? 3080 on NVidia side but 7900 xtx on AMD side? Also a Ryzen 7 7800x for 1080p@60 with High settings?

I got a Ryzen 7 5800x3d and a 6950xt and I have no clue what kind of performance I can expect.

Lemmur wird seit Februar 23 nicht mehr weiter entwickelt. Unter Android ist Jerboa aktuell wohl die einzige App, die "benutzbar" und aktiv in Entwicklung ist.
