[MCCFAMA #2] Sol & Terra
Despite overwhelmingly negative feedback on the first issue of MCCFAMA, here's issue #2. If I get the same backlash then I'll abandon this format.

Minecraft Content for Advanced Minecraft Aficionados, or MCCFAMA for short, is here by popular demand!
The "e" reflecting in the glass was pure coincidence btw
NB: I was on the wiki page for Lead to read about all the fun things it does to your body and end up on this page. I don't know if I would have noticed anything off about this article without this note at the top, but something sure seems off about it. Either that, or scientists really did come up with this theory in 2025.
If this violates rule #6 too hard I'll remove this post.
I’m sorry I had this thought but I’m dragging y’all into this
Ok I just noticed that my previous post got deleted because it's AI generated. So I guess I'll have to provide proof it's not.
Let inspiration guide me to weird places here.
Solution:
Thanks to [email protected] for bringing this up. The solution from this thread actually works: https://forum.endeavouros.com/t/a-start-job-is-running-for-dev-disk-uui-running-for-5min/80783
tl;dr: force_drivers+=" uas usb_storage xhci_hcd xhci_pci " is all dracut needed

Alright I'm at the end of the rope with my Linux knowledge. So I need your help.
I'm on EndeavourOS and just recently upgraded to Linux 7.1.5, all upgrades thus far have been without issue. I am dual-booting but have Linux on its own SSD, and grub handles booting into Linux or Windows.
Now, after booting into Windows and back into Linux, Linux won't start.
The error:
A start job is running for /dev/disks/by-uuid/
Let me tell you what I've already done:
One last idea I had was to drop myself into the dracut emergency shell and actually check what's actually under /dev/disks/by-uuid and lo and behold: it's actually missing the drive.
Here's whats nuts tho: grub loads the drive by UUID as well, loads the initrd, and all that works. When I regenerated the initrd with dracut I could also tell that grub was now loading the newer initrd.
WHAT THE FUCK???
Help?
At this point I REALLY don't know wtf to do. Why doesnt the initramfs detect the drive? The only useful info I can add here is that all drives listed under /dev/disks/by-uuid had that shorter UUID with no dashes like ABCD1234, whereas the UUID for the correct drive/partition is the longer type UUID like abc1234-1234-0000-defg ___
Alright so I been daily driving Linux for a couple months now and it’s been pretty smooth going.
Today I felt nostalgic and wanted to play Dark Souls 2. And it absolutely didn’t recognize my controller. This is the first time I had such an issue with the Steam Controller and I didn’t know what to do.
Tried the usual suspects but nothing, and i had to give up. I tried googling, found no results, uninstalled. But I wasn’t happy, so I googled again and found the solution.
Apparently my Keychron keyboard is the issue? So quick exception added and it works. Still wondering why this isn’t an issue in any other game tho…
I got a sleeve gastrectomy.
I’ve been obese all my life. And nothing I ever did to lose any weight stuck.
The hunger always came back.
Now I got most of my stomach removed, and I hope to be able to participate in normal life soon.
I’ll be in pain for a while, but I am soooooo excited to be able to actually start my life now.

Slice of ketchup anyone?
I still haven’t drawn much but this is the first one I’d consider a failure. I found good references and spent a good chunk of time sketching it out, only for me to realize the acrylic for the background immediately covered the sketches so I had to draw from memory.
Plus I then realized my sketch was much smaller than my brush. All in all, total failure. Couldn’t even figure out how to make the background interesting so I just splotched trees in there.
Still sharing it tho because that’s how you grow, right? :3
