I went to an estate sale of a professor. The garage was full of nice shelving full of perfectly organized binder boxes containing dissertations. I assume from every grad student he taught over his career. This took up most of his garage.

I hate Jeeps

I think old jeeps (pre Stellantis ownership or even older) are ok. Anyone who buys a brand new Jeep product is a gullible moron.

That said, even with the old jeeps that I can appreciate, I still don't want one. At least for a daily driver. I hate the lip at the base of the door that my feet get caught on when trying to get out. The door latch on the frame always gets caught on my belt loops. They just aren't comfortable either.

Not New, Just Fuck Cars

People always point out the irony of driving to a gym to ride a stationary bike. But one of the primary reasons people do it is because they don't feel safe riding bikes on the road with all the cars. Its an onion of irony.

bmw

A good friend of mine was a BMW mechanic for years. His favorite joke was: "You know what the most soul crushingly pointless job is? The guy who installs turn signals at the BMW factory."

OP cleans his fridge

I was disgusted and really needed to know what this was. Since nobody seems to have answered I did a reverse image search:

::: spoiler spoiler It's a lash egg, laid by a chicken with an infection in its fallopian tubes. :::

In the United States, what makes a 'libertarian' right wing?

When I was young and in college I thought I was a Libertarian because it wasn't big government, and that libertarians were in favor of legalizing weed and gay marriage, basically letting people do what they want without the government regulating it. At the time around 2008ish, the Libertarian party really was leaning hard into that part, while leaving out the whole wanting to privatize everything. I had to get a bit older and more mature to realize that libertarians want to make every tax payer funded program function more like our fucked up healthcare system. Libertarians think that the fire department should be an opt in subscription service like it was in the 1800s. Fucking dipshits the lot of them.

Grandma's recipes

Church potluck every Sunday when I was a kid. A whole buffet line of jello based not dessert dishes. Usually peas in green jello, shredded carrots in orange jello,or hotdog in jello abominations. If not jello, there were at least 10 mayonnaise based atrocities.

I ate a lot of dinner rolls.
