Is there a Linux based OS for public computers, such as at a library or a PC cafe?

I am no expert. But I think there is an 'easier' way too manage this with an overlay filesystem.

Have an immutable base with all permissions set. When a session is started have it be done in an in-memory overlay. On logout drop the overlay.

This might be easier if you don't want to rely on cronjobs. But as I have no experience myself setting this up... 'easier' should be taken with a grain of salt. I just took inspiration from docker.

I would think paranoia and narcissism go hand in hand. After all, you are the center of the world and the world is out to get you.

What i totally believe is that he will have one of the most unhealthiest reactions to this going forward.

Apologies for the sin of linking Reddit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/NonPoliticalTwitter/

Sometimes humans do stuff that are not at all related with politics. But we are masters of linking any non-political action to political arguments. (The classic 'I like pancakes.'-'So you hate waffles!'-problem)

Sometimes I just want to have a space to engage with funny memes without the mental strain of filtering out political comments.

There is a stage in the transition to communism called 'the oppression of the proletariat' aka 'dictatorship'. Supposedly it should be a temporary stage before transitioning into a more decentralized type of government. As far as I am aware, not any communist revolution got beyond the dictatorship stage as absolute power corrupts.

How we found out? We knew from the start there would be a discrepancy. Early testing pointed to this problem. And we warned every superior up the chain. But in the end we were ordered to just put a warning on the scroll.

We were only taken serious after a junior magician thought it was funny to teleport an elephant into their observatorium before exams and neglected the warnings. That is how the Mana Void of Barkley Academy was formed.

The superiors were out for blood when the first court summon scrolls appeared, using competitors teleportation technology. That was until we gave them a copy of our manilla scroll holder full with communication of them neglecting to heed our warnings.
