And for buying what had become a standard tool of communication worldwide and spraying a swastika on it by renaming it X.

Have Americans always been this stupid?
The gish gallop has gone mainstream.
What we needed, twenty to forty years ago at the bare minimum, were journalists who were willing to shut that shit down.
I remember being a child watching the news with my parents and seeing an oil company defender accusing the scientists of chasing profits.
Like what the fuck? How did that not end immediately with "And who is currently profiting?" is and always has been beyond me.
...I'm not sure that's a great example of the gish gallop. Technically.
My point was that we now report the untrue claims rather than saying, from the start, "This candidate said something completely false and not worth repeating."
For clicks, views, the algorithm, for profit. Nope. It was all to game the system in order to destroy it.
Sorry, this probably isn't coherent but I'm tired and tipsy, and I've chosen to hit save.

Can Trump still run for president now that he's a convicted felon?

Actually the thought is if the government can just imprison you to stop your candidacy, they have too much power.
Thus they can continue to run.

Kamala Harris erases Trump’s poll lead in one week

She will be.
I'm increasingly confident about a blue wave this election. First multiracial female president in a time when bodily autonomy is under attack.
And that's all without taking into account who and what she is running against.

Why is Facebook still so insanely popular?
I have never been a Facebook user so I'm mostly guessing.
But I think there was a heyday where people spent a great deal of time on there.
Now they don't. They just log on when it's needed to get ahold of someone or check a specific niche community.
Thus it's dying because the ad revenue is way down. It's in decline not because it lacks users, but because they no longer spend hours there.

And preferably, name someone who has announced their candidacy.
A list of people you'd like in the job isn't as relevant. I would've accepted almost any of the names people had floated, had any of them publicly shown interest.
But here we are with people often demanding Jon Stewart and Michelle Obama throw their hats in the ring, and that's two people who keep saying they aren't interested.
Edit: the shit people downvote here.

My vet tech wife thinks it abcesses from an older dog bite. She believes there would be more damage from a gunshot.
But an abcess would be a round, symmetrical wound and if it was from a bite it explains why there would be another on the other side. There should also be scabs next to the abcesses from the other two canine teeth.

Wizards Of The Coast President Cynthia Williams Steps Down
"Williams held the position for over two years and was involved in some of the company’s biggest highs and lows, with her tenure seeing the release of the D&D film Honor Among Thieves and the blockbuster video game Baldur’s Gate 3, as well as ushering in a wave of fan backlash following the OGL scandal."
They had little to nothing to do with BG3. The development process of a movie, including approving of a screenplay, takes longer than two years, leaving her responsible for...
Oh. Yeah.
The reason I abandoned the company. Or at least one of the avalanche of reasons.
