You plant shit seeds, you get shit weeds.

If it's one thing I learned from the last BS they pulled during the protests last year, it's that their actions will have little impact on reddit user behavior. People will complain and express outrage, but the vast majority of users will just sit back and take it like good little AI trainers.

I for one will not be one of them. When they removed mods from communities that were in protest, that's enough for me to stay clear going forward. As much as I miss the content, it warms my soul every time I think about the ad revenue they're missing out on by my own personal decisions to not consume it.

why type lot letter when few do trick

No disrespect, but asking everyone to remove words from the English language because they may offend a small group of oversensitive people is one of the most frustrating social initiatives of our time. "Master" makes sense for the job and unless we're also putting "Slave" and "Cotton" on the dictionary chopping block, the arguement will always seem arbitrary to me.

My Git Knowledge

Aye, most of my 10 year career in web dev is pretty much those commands. However, some advanced git concepts are worth diving into. Stuff like git bisect that can narrow down the exact commit that broke your app is an absolute life saver. Knowing how to git cherry-pick is also a git skill professionals should be comfortable doing. Migrating work from one branch to another without merging the entire branch is pretty common.

Call a phone sex hotline if you wanna talk to someone so bad

Yup, same. I'm 6 years into Do Not Disturb and I gotta say, I'm never going back. I use my phone on MY terms, not what the advertisers or all the app notifications want of my attention. I feel like I've been able to be much more focused and productive in life without the interruptions.

And yes, Android supports exceptions for DND, so my wife or family members can call without issues, or specific app notifications I allow like some Discord DMs or specific server notifications.

Wizards of the Coast admits AI used in marketing assets

As an indie game dev with an insanely low budget, I'm looking forward to the time in the future where people stop giving the random fuck they're currently giving about the use of AI gen content so I can safely build my game with higher quality assets without the fear of a mob of angry consumers flooding my steam page with bad reviews. It seriously boggles my mind why this is even a trend right now. People need to realize we're saving money where we can so we can improve the quality of the product elsewhere! I'll now have more enemies in my game because I no longer need to hire a concept artist for the general concept. I'm empowered to do that work myself in a few minutes of chat prompts, and I'm still hiring 3D Artists to bring that concept to life.

Please people, chill the fuck out and let the industry adjust appropriately to this amazing technology. Y'all sound like those that protested the use of cars when the horse lost it's job to it.

Some Trump-appointed judges keep sneaking Biblical reference into court opinions

What I find most comical about this situation is just how little Trump actually cares about Christianity, yet his base completely ignores his track record. He'll sell Bibles because it makes him money. He'll do the Christian dance just as much as what is needed to fool his base into thinking that's a part of his moral compass.

Power and money is what drives that man, and everything else is an illusion to gain the first two.
