YSK that coffee is healthy. Starbucks is not real coffee. It's trash.

Caffeine is an addictive substance.

If you are used to drinking coffee and don't have your daily dose, you will feel terrible. Some people are very sensitive to caffeine and may experience anxiety.

I'm a caffeine addict so I'm biased here. I should perhaps reduce my coffee intake and switch to tea. I just can't get my self to do it.

However, studies found coffee is not actually a dangerous addiction:

The US would rather make people homeless than build apartments without parking, study finds

Across the United States, zoning codes require new developments to provide a minimum number of parking spaces, which carry substantial construction costs.

In this report, we use 2025 construction cost estimates from Rider Levett Bucknall to calculate the cost per space in 17 U.S. cities and combine these data with local minimum parking requirements to estimate how parking mandates increase total construction costs across building types.

We find that parking construction costs have risen substantially faster than inflation since 2012 and that required parking can account for a large share of total project costs—adding tens of thousands of dollars per housing unit and, in some cases, increasing total construction costs by more than 50%

France's Macron urges calm after far-right activist fatally beaten

France right now is like a powder keg

This far-right activist was beaten by a street group calling themselves the Young Guards ("Le Jeune Gardes"). What makes this case dangerous is that Raphael Arnault, leader of Young Guards, is also a famous French MP.

He is part of a left-wing party calling themselves the France Rebellion ("France Insoumise").

Raphael Arnault has been involved in street fights with Young Guards against Lepen supporters. He was even sentenced to jail by a judge. However, his political party always defended him, despite his criminal conviction.

Now, the France Rebellion party is getting blamed for this death. And they are facing massive calls for physical retribution.

Things could really get out of control.

Let's hope that cool heads prevail.

YSK About Ali Khamenei's fatwa against nuclear weapons

You should know this because one of the reasons Trump’s been trying to use to justify this war is that Iran never said they wouldn’t pursue nuclear weapons.

Iran doesn’t want to get nukes

You think a religious dude that just gunned down tens of thousands of his own people is honest?

https://www.theguardian.com/global-development/ng-interactive/2026/feb/06/rasht-massacre-protests-iran-timeline

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_Iran_massacres

Iran has repeatedly denied access to International Nuclear Inspectors:

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c1mg7kx2d45o

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/ce3v6w2qr12o

I don't like Trump. I don't like Netanyahu. I don't like this stupid war.

But this idea that Iran just isn't interested in nukes is a joke. They have been absorbing crippling sanctions to enrich uranium far-above civilian grade.

Killing of nationalist student leaves French far left in deep trouble as elections loom

Far left is against capitalism

And you think LFI is favorable to capitalism?

Mélenchon, the leader of LFI:

"Capitalism is a system that is obsolete. Social democracy is outdated"

LFI is not considered as far left by the real far left parties

The leaders of the Anti-Capitalist Party said they would vote for the leader of LFI;

Xi Zhongxun, the father of Xi Jinping, was accused of being anti-communism.

That was a lie. He was actually communist. It didn't matter. He was savagely beaten up by an angry crowd. They broke his teeth. Then, he was thrown in prison without any trial.

I don't like mob rule. I like having a court system.

The people who call newspapers "propaganda" are even more propagandized than the people they call brainwashed

I hate to break it to you, but if you ONLY get your news from newspapers, you are getting an intensely biased, compromised, and manipulative perspective

You think social media is less compromised, less manipulative??

What happens when someone does something morally wrong but legal?

If a law is bad, you change the law. That's how it works in any democracy.

If americans want a better healthcare system, all they have to do is change the law.

The issue is that :

1. Americans vote for corrupt people. Rick Scott was convicted of defrauding Medicaid and Medicare. He was still elected by the people of Florida

2. Americans insist on giving some empty states 2 senators.

3. Americans insist that the Senate needs a super-majority to vote any bill

These flaws are why americans can't have healthcare.

Ultimately, it's up to americans to fix their political system to make it more representative if they want healthcare. Killing random CEOs isn't going to work.
