She's absolutely not what Japan needed. Conservatives are less unhinged than their US counterparts but they wont do what's needed for Japan to survive. Their aging population voted for this as they get unreasonably spooked by immigration when their country needed it the most (Japan's immigration is already very low). They'll gradually fall into corruption and irrelevance in the next few decades if they don't wake up or worse if there's a war.

Horizon Zero Dawn remastered, I'm having a blast ! Aloy is a really cool character, and the mistery around what happened grabed me. I found funny how they don't tell you how much time has passed; but you can deduce it from a specific message, at some point in the story, and a calculator haha.

Yes, it's backed by Redhat/IBM but it's a community project. If things goes sideways it'll be forked and continued as if nothing happened. Using any Linux distribution, you're using tonnes of US software. They are still absolutely free and open, this is not comparable to Android that proprietary parts and locked in hardware. 

The problem is they would go full on moving to other sources of incomes as they already do for part of it today. You'd need to cap any form of incomes for it to work, that's much harder to do.  I don't think this is something that can be solved with current capitalism, sadly I don't think it'll change before it's too late. 

My point stand, when you're someone with common sense, you don't go to a fishy clinic with unlicensed people working there. It's recipe for disaster.
