SCOTUS says Trump can impose massive changes to mail voting before midterms

The blue states just need to enact malicious compliance. They could declare a floating public holiday called voting day, pay electoral staff penalty rates and make it a law that all workers required to work that day are given paid time off to attend a nearby voting station. They could setup a time slot booking system that lets people nominate a voting station and a timeslot with information about how many people are attending at that time so they can make informed decisions about when to attend. Could they impose a tarrif (apparently it's not a tax) on political parties so that a percentage of their donations need to go to supporting the local elections. Republican billionaires want to buy elections? Whoops all democracy.

Scientists stunned by children's lung recovery in ultra low emission zone

Anecdotal evidence: I grew up in Australia and I had reasonably severe asthma when I was a kid, when I got older I only got wheezy when I got a cold. Moved to the UK for 8 years and immediately started getting regular asthma attacks after moving over and had to go on a preventer. Lived in London for the three quarters and Guildford for the last quarter. Moved home post COVID and a couple months after arriving home my asthma went back to only being an issue when sick. I'm confident it was pollution related.

I agree, but Meriam Webster is a well known dictionary. As per the disclaimer the examples are automatically generated from current current online sources. Seems odd they would choose fox news as a reasonable source but they don't seem to cite how they automatically generated those examples. Did it just run a google search and it pops up the first few listings or is it a bit more involved than that? It is suspicious that fox news is the top example.

I am in no way in support of those monsters and it's probably fair that the Christians in the conservative movements across the world fit Sartre's assessment particularly in that they claim antisemitism more as a way to shut down things without arguing the actual points. But as far as the Israeli government goes, who are by far the loudest people screeching about anti semitism and are most certainly Jews, they can't be anti semites. The dictionary disagrees with your assertion that you can be anti Semitic towards non Jewish Semites. The term is specific to Jewish people.
