Edit: This one's been floating around the net for long enough that I'd forgotten what the feathery chap in the back left was up to!

Hidden behind a spoiler for those who don't want to see an owl swallowing an entire rat(!)

I used to follow a guy on Tumblr who ended up watching a lot of daytime TV while recuperating from surgery.

He came to the conclusion that wrestling was essentially a soap opera designed to be socially acceptable for men to watch.

Some humans would do anything to see if it was possible to do it. If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

Orc: "I caught an owl. There’s going to be dinner tonight."

For what you may not know is that Charles Darwin had a huge interest in food, and during his time in Cambridge he was the President of the  infamous Glutton Club.

The main objective of the club was to seek and eat ‘strange flesh’ and chow down upon the rarest ‘birds and beasts which were before unknown to human palate’.

The club met weekly and was a roaring success. They ate such beautiful birds as the bittern and hawk.

The club eventually came to an abrupt end when a tawny owl was served up.

The meat was disgusting and stringy and was described as, er, “indescribable”.
