Great! Ecosia works super well, and it feels good to not having to rely on google to find things. Only thing I’d wish for is that they’d have some map service or similar to find restaurants and shop. There is sadly no good replacement for google maps that I’ve found

I have a tendency to jump between different note-taking services. Markdown seems like it could maybe be a cure for me.. By now i have no idea where I should look for a note I know I’ve taken, is it in notion, onenote, apple notes, and so on..

There’s something called ”positive nihilism“ that I feel works super well for me to keep the doom and gloom at bay. Like if nothing matters - you’re free. If it doesn’t matter what you do, then do whatever makes you feel good! It doesn’t matter to go to that event because you’ll die at some point anyway? Well then go to an event that you want to go to because you’ll feel good, or don’t! So to answer the question haha, maybe like a 4/10

For sure, one specific thing is being able to find a restaurant in the vicinity, seeing some kind of review system of its reception, and knowing if it’s open or not and having a link to a menu or its homepage. Another (albeit extremely specific) case is looking up a secondhand store in the vicinity of where I am - I tried this with here wego when I was out recently but it showed me a store that no longer existed. Of course might be a unlucky coincidence (google maps for sure has nonexisting stores too), but I’m 0 for 1 atm.

En annan aspekt som jag tänker på som jag inte setts nämnas är musik och skämt/humor. Jag har själv varit immigrant i ett annat land under några år och vad jag ser som kan skilja inhemska/integrerade mot nyinflyttade är t.ex. kunskapen om inhemska musikaliska stycken. Att kunna sjunga med i låtar under högtider, på fester, o.s.v. tror jag är en del av att vara ”svensk”, inte så viktigt del kanske men ändå. Sedan tror jag skämt är en del av det. Att t.ex. kunna fatta vad någon menar när det skämtar om någon ska vara en Svensson eller vad nu skämtet är är en del av att vara svensk. Det är ju iofs en del av språkkunskapen men handlar ju också om att man snappar upp de lite mer obskyra referenserna till kulturella ”memes”

So it’s not like Mullvad itself is non-anonymous, but you can’t do what you want with it anonymously

Egentligen bara äta som det är, brukar skära tunna skivor som man sen har på tallriken typ som man skulle ha annan chark. Fungerar dock rätt bra på bröd som pålägg också!
