Is this true?
The exploration of xenoblade chronicles x is what seperates it as a gaming experience compared to the numbered xenoblade games. While it is the weakest narratively, it holds the largest sense of exploration

Christian metal band sues netflix because google won't show them anymore.

The thing they have to fight though is that when you register for a trademark, it doesnt apply to every sector. Apple cannot for example and sue farm conglomerates for using the word apple on their actual apples. They do not hold the trademark in terms of produce.
For example, Nintendo lost a trademark to a supermarket in I think costa rica named "Super Mario" (it was a supermarket owned by a guy named mario), because Nintendo did not own the trademark rights to supermarkets(however they held one for food products branded it, so the same supermarket could not name their home branded products super mario)
Its a matter if the band holds the trademark for movies, as the band in the show itself is not called Demon Hunters (its Hunter/x)

search engine SEOs are a separate issue than trademarks though. there isn't any law that im aware of that requires search engines to be neutral on how searches are organized (or even if something shows at all). If Demon Hunter wants to fight against not being able to be found, theyd essentially for example, be fighting against every corporate who uses DMCA powers to force google to remove some links from being indexed.

And they say Ace Attorney isn't yaoi
afaik edgeworth was originally meant to be an older prosecutor but the character designer intentionally pushed to make him younger to pair well with Wright.
shes also a known BL manga author.

theres a generation of kids who don't understand basic directories because of the mobile market and never actually used a pc in a regular usecase.
put in perspective, there are those who are more proficient on a touchscreen keyboard more than an actual keyboard.

Gamers Nexus big story about GPU smuggling got taken down.
iirc theyre active on reddit talking about the situation. basically bloomberg lawyers probably striked it for a segment they included in the video, but GN thinks theyre fine because itll be covered by fair use. Basically nothing to do with the parties involved in the topics of the video.

Valve Issues Cease And Desist To Counter-Strike: Classic Offensive Mod Team After Previously Giving Approval, Shutting Down 8 Years Of Development

is it a lame decision? valve was okay with the project, until the devs used a method in the closed source part of source to do something. Valve then asked them to not do that, so the dev then implemented an even worse method than the first, which Valve than C&D altogether.
valve had 0 problems with the project, other than a very specific implementation they did with source engine, was asked to fix it, but chose not to do it.

Nintendo is suing the creators of Switch emulator Yuzu
the funniest shit about the paperowrk is that nintendo indirectly says nintendo is doing illegal work because they claim a video game emulator is a piece of software that allows users to unlawfully play pirated video games that were published for a specific console on a general purpose device.
they either have to say NSO/Nes/Snes classic are not emulation, or admit their definition of emulators is not the universally accepted definition of it, else Nintendo just Claimed Nintendo is serving up and charging for an unlawful service that is NSO.

European crash tester says carmakers must bring back physical controls
Reply in thread
IMO the capacititive buttons with no feedback are even worse than the touch screen. at least with the touch screen, you will likely have a colored UI element on screen to press. with the cars that replace all the buttons with capacitive buttons with no feedback, theyre all the same color.

some people misinterpret "freedom of speech" meaning universal freedom of speech. all it mandates is that the government isn't going to punish you for saying shit. It does not protect a person if other people punish them for saying shit.

US Postal Service electric trucks are finally here and drivers love them
Reply in thread
basically how i see it with delivery trucks, you need a few things.
heated/air vented seats for driver comfort along with AC.
easy access to the back of the truck
as well as room to stand in the truck, because the driver is going to have to constantly get in and out of the driver seat, so being able to get out easier/faster is good.

Valve dev says SteamOS isn't about killing Windows: 'If a user has a good experience on Windows, there's no problem'
its honest a boon for gamers as microsoft now actually has to spend more effort making windows betters for gamers then spending all of its effort on windows for arm and AI. one of the things windows as an OS lacks is that the handheld experience is actually trash, and the OS is a resource hog for a handheld device

us auto industry has reletively higher crash saftey requirements. part of the reason why everythings so damn big.
the kei trucks are basically rear end death traps if you hit US sized vehicles.
its why the only ones you can legally drive in some states are the ones that pass the 25 year car import law.
some areas explicitly ban it (e.g NYC i believe)
