‘I don’t date at all now’: one woman’s journey into the darkest corners of the manosphere

Photoshop is still too much effort and requires some skill.
Once you can tell ChatGPT to "to make me some nudes of my classmate Alice" then that will change.
Just look at drones. RC planes existed for ages but you needed some skills to assemble and use them. Now you can buy them ready made and now we need all sorts of regulations that idiots aren't flying them over airports.
I, however, don't subscribe to the notion that it will normalize nudes. Those will be still used to bully those girls cause sadly people don't really need a reason to and that counts double for the young in school or collage.

I'd like to change my last name and want suggestions
If it's an Ellis Island misspelling, could you not just correct the misspelling and go with the corrected version?

Same. Deleted my account when they started to censor the Turkish protestors. Not that I used the account really but still.

Today I won against a 300 elo player in chess
Isn't 300 elo in the range where you could move your pieces at random and still win?

Vienna would need about 150 km² of solar panels to produce enough electricity

But his question was why not use parking lots first? It's already dead ground for nature, has the additional advantage to keep the cars cool in the shade and the electricity is produced closer to where it's needed.

surely your hobby can't be that expensive
My hobby of flipping antic gold coins into ponds cost me pretty penny but it's so rewarding! Once I'm good at it I'll turn it into a side hustle and it'll have paid for itself in no time!

What's the right term for a picture generator? I'd guess LLM, language model, doesn't fit.

Too much baggage [Admiral Wonderboat]
How is that belt holding on that art-thing? If you put it on horizontal then your art will have an easier time pulling your baggage.

If you extend that to "manipulating organic matter by touch" you could not only heal them but also fix that crooked nose that always bothered them but wouldn't count as illness or injury. Makes more people more happier. You could also grow them wings or cat ears ;-)

Received it after leaving a comment in gonewild. Prime hunting grounds for lonely guys I guess. Was my second comment ever and my first was way earlier therefore I'm sure that it was the gonewild comment that triggered the bot to send me the message.

What would the Department of Education change it's name to if it renamed itself like the Department of Defense did?
Departement for Christianity in schools - because that's all they (pretend to) care about regarding education.

Do you enjoy any mobile games at all? I know most of them are stuffed with paywalls and daft monetisation tricks, but have you ever stumbled across a proper gem hiding in the rubble?
Only play two games on mobile:
Magic Survival https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vkslrzm.Zombie For a bit of braindead pretty lightshow time. Love the art style for the skills and items.
and
Lichess https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.lichess.mobileV2 For a bit of... well, it's chess so you know what you're getting.

I used to love computing as a hobby, but now it feels like it's a source of evil in the world, how have you dealt with this?
Have you looked into tech not corrupted by big corporations? I found meshcore recently, no internet required to connect people, you can easily do something to make your local network more robust and it's so niche that I can't imagine any money moving into it to monetise it somehow.
