Then treat your employees like humans, not human resources. That means sick days at the very least. If you want to be respected more, then start respecting your employees more.

Wouldn't want to be mean to Facebook users, but the vast majority of them probably has micophone access enabled for Messenger at least, if not Facebook.

I'd assume the train passes past the station either way, so it's just a matter of stopping or not.
She probably has a yearly/minthly ticket, meaning no one needs to actually be tzere at the station. The train just comes, stops and goes. Doesn't seem like too much of an added cost.

I love how almost every comment talks as if the pedestrians were the problem, and not designers.
Just made the footpath in box 2 the actual path, and slap additional stuff anywhere not-on-top-of-where-peiople-walk.

Cloudfare outage post mortem

How come?
You can route traffic without Cloudflare.
You can use CDNs other than Cloudflare's.
You can use tunneling from other providers.
There are providers of DDOS protection and CAPTCHA other than Cloudflare.
Sure, Cloudflare is probably closest to asingle, integrated solution for the full web delivery stack. It's also not prohibitively expensive, depending on who needs what.
So the true explanation, as always, is lazyness.

If you want systems utilities, no need to look at the entire app list or a special exception for the sort! Just go look into the K area instead. A few other apps may invade the space, but all your system apps are gonna be in one place!

Nintendo reportedly gets even more obnoxious about patent law by taking a 'mods aren't real games' stance against a Dark Souls 3 mod that could invalidate its Palworld lawsuit
It's basically a non-sequitur.
A mod isn't a standalone game, sure. It requires the base game to have meaning. Unitl it gets spinned off and becomes a "real" (standalone) game.
However, that has no connection with the original problem: Did anyone who isn't Nintendo ever animate a cartoony person throwing a ball that does something, before Nintendo filed for a patent?
Of course they have. That's prior art, and the patent itself is under serious question - whether the animation was in a "real" game, a "fake" one or in a Blender animation has very little influence on that fact.

Honestly, isn't them invoking the arbitration clause a direct admission of guilt? Had they just came to court and said "we have nothing to do with it" they might've just gotten away with it. Like this, they literally drag themselves into the suit and say you can't sue me. Not a good look.

The CEO of Microsoft AI is unimpressed by the negative criticism of Windows AI.
If every single screen produced between 30 and 25 years ago just so happened to have a Snake game you had to look at every few minutes, people's (rightful) impressedness would turn into equally rightfull unimpressedness bordering on disgust.
It's not LLMs technologically that's unimpressive. It's shoving them down people's throats.
Sometimes less is more.
