In a classic example you have a village with 2 bakeries, one of the bakers came up with a machine to kneed the bread, so he can make more bread and sell it cheaper. This is sort of the story people tell to show how great capitalism is.

But we have reached a point where that one bakery now owns a chain of bakers, adds ingredients to the bread to make it more addictive, skips on actual ingredients needed for bread and replaces them with sawdust, made donations to the current political party so any competition has to jump through hoops to get a bakery license, etc.

Rocket works fine now, but multiple other companies already have been to Mars, so no need to even go anymore.

What I never understood (not from America), is that one party claims to really care about freedom and less involved government.

Whenever I hear that I think cool, so the freedom to have full autonomy over your body? Legal drugs, abortion, etc. Or the freedom to marry who you want, whatever gender. The freedom to legally end your own life, for example if you are terminally ill.

But usually it's just large companies shouldn't pay tax and we want guns, but for everything else fuck freedom.

To add to this, Putin can recruit from the poorest regions for a while, but at some point he needs to get men from the larger cities. I'm 40+ and a couple of months ago started therapy. I didn't even knew I needed therapy, went with my wife for couple therapy and it quickly turned into personal therapy.

What I learned after some tests is that I fall into the top 4% of men who are emotional closed off. This is pretty extreme, but maybe the worst part is, I never even knew. This is the stereotype we teach boys, men don't have emotions, they don't talk about emotions, etc.
