What are computer gadgets everyone should own?

Just don't fall for those "gamer" chairs. They're designed to look pretty, not to be comfortable.

I support their decision. If admins are going to be dicks, then so be it. I hope they'll enjoy it.

I remember when Digg collapsed and the Great Exodus happened. It's incredible to see history repeat itself.

Yes, obviously you should cut supply lines, duh. Why would you supply products to someone who isn't paying for them.

US spends more on healthcare per capita than any other country. The reason why you can't afford medical bills is because of for-profit health insurance companies. They pocket billions every year.

Asking non-Americans to pay in USD
Reply in thread
No, it's fairly common in many countries. Foreign currencies (namely USD and EUR) are a lot more stable and people prefer that. USD was the unofficial main currency for any large purchases (like a car or a house) in the Soviet union and for several years after its collapse.

I can't agree with that. Being poor is not an excuse to be a shitbag. A lot of those guys aren't even trying to change anything, they put all the blame on corporations as if it somehow makes their behavior justified, and then spend their days on incel forums.

The "issues" are all those extremists. You can't reason with them and they won't stop until they destroy you.

Pentagon orders AMRAAM missiles worth over $1 billion for Ukraine

Except that in this case the situation really is black and white, no grey area. A peaceful sovereign country was invaded by some genocidal fucks and it is our duty to help them. Corruption is not an excuse to stop the support, because Ukraine is actively trying to sort it out too. They know what life is like in the EU and they want more of that.
For the record, I live in EU, some 60 miles from the nearest russian military base. I have personal interest in Ukraine's victory because if it falls, then my country might be next.

I signed up here a while ago but continued using reddit because Relay still worked. Now it's asking for money and there's no chance in hell I'll give even a cent to spez.

US spends about as much per capita on healthcare as many other developed countries. The issue is that your insurance companies pocket a lot of it. Be angry at them, not at Ukraine or the weapons going to Ukraine.

You can have a gun in any county in Europe, you just have to get some training and pass a test first. Also, Hungary isn't all that great right now, with their totalitarian president, pro-russian views and huge brain drain. Looks like Slovakia is moving in the same direction.

Digg and Reddit were rivals of sorts, constantly mocking each other, occasionally brigading and competing for being the better site. Then Digg administration changed the design of the site and gave way more power to corporations and advertisers, and then everyone just packed up and went to Reddit, where they were welcomed and accepted.
User numbers were obviously much smaller, because the internet was less than half the size of what it is today (2 billion users in 2010 vs. 5 billion today).

Hamas intentionally uses civilian buildings and schools as ammo warehouses. Israel aims for the ammunition and ignores the civilian casualties. Neither side wants to avoid civilian deaths in Gaza.
