New Charlie Kirk statue vandalized at Turning Point USA headquarters
A newly unveiled statue of the rightwing activist Charlie Kirk was vandalized at the Turning Point USA headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona.
The statue was found with red spray-paint. A nearby poster memorial in front of the statue was vandalized with red paint as well.

I think a paintball gun would be a better choice next time. They'll put up more cameras, another fence, etc. A gun would be faster and they could stand back a ways.
They should leave it like this. That thing is never staying clean.
That paint is highly washable.
Very sad, folks. Very sad. Just look at what they did the new brand new statue. The thing was only just unveiled! Goodness!
They marked the neck at least.
Charlie wouldn’t want the truth washed away
Pretty sure it was delivered like that. Nothing to see here.
Who?
It's a communal art project. Everyone gets to participate.
A distinct improvement if you ask me. I'm sort of an expert.
If turning point had any decency at all I would feel like this was inappropriate. And so I say, GOOD!
My gut says there's a 40% chance they did this themselves to try and gain sympathy. They thought Kirk would be their Horst Wessel, but public opinion never went their way. Less than a month in and they couldn't even get Jimmy Kimmel fired. A year in and everyone finds the Kirk widow off-putting. Thanks to Candice Owens, they're even reduce to arguing with own supporters about whether Erika Kirk and the Mossad had Charlie killed. I could see this being a last ditch effort to regain narrative control.
Those disgusting vandals painted red on his shirt, face, hand and hat!
That spot on his neck is just accuracy tho. Should've been there to begin with
I mean really, who saw that coming?
If they're smart, they will allow people to paint all over it. Otherwise, it's an ugly statue aesthetically in my opinion, paint could only improve it.
If they're really smart, they did this themselves. Press brings them donations.
I say this as someone who is anti-Kirk murder and anti-political murders in general. I think his assassination will make his message much stronger than it was when he was alive, and now he's a martyr for a message that fundamentally thrives on martyrs. He's already gotten a lot more press than he would of if he was alive.
