Musk was asked about the New York Times article in an appearance at the White House alongside Trump on Friday. “Is that the same publication that got a Pulitzer Prize for false reporting on the Russiagate?” he replied, referring to claims that Trump had been compromised by Russia during his 2016 presidential election victory. “Is it the same organisation? Let’s move on.”

I don't like this theory, cause it implies that everything he has done is because of the drugs, and not because he's a megalomaniac narcissistic greedy moron.
My theory is that his PR people are "leaking" these stories that he can rebuild his image as a recovering addict. This will let them craft a sympathetic story and they will hope that we'll forget that he's a racist asshole.

This is also PR for Trump, who should still hold the majority of the blame for the disastrous DOGE firing spree and violations of private data on citizens. You know, for letting this billionaire Nazi prick buy his way into the White House in the first place.
Instead, they’ll say Trump thought Muskrat had a good head on his shoulders and didn’t realize Elon was so drugged out and causing problems. Poor Trump just had no idea.
I've learned to not give them that much credit. My theory is muskrat is just an addict.
If he wants to use this angle in my mind he's going to have to do way more than a weekend at Betty Ford. If he retracts his antagonism for unions at his plants and rehires those he fired would be a start. He'd also have to do a full 180 and admit how hard the work of government is and his actions with DOGE were more destructive than constructive. He'd had to publicly apologize for his behavior and provide restitution to all those his actions negatively impacted. A big part of that would be fighting against the trump administration and its attacks on racial and gender minorities.
But didn't they hate druggies, and all the fentanyls brought by the bad bad illegals, etc. etc.?

In order to develop bladder issues, people need to abuse Ketamine frequently for a longer time and with high doses. Just doing it on weekends at parties wont cause such issues for a long time. Also Ketamine develops a crazy tolerance.
Well, I guess there goes the old theory of giving people in control psychedelics and MDMA and having it turn them around and become more empathetic.
Also, I've heard the bladder issues excessive ketamine causes is incredibly painful and I would normally have some sympathy for someone with the condition, but I really find it lacking when it's concerning someone who has caused so much chaos and harm.
