More likely to be a first person shooter type game than a new RTS, but as a casual Starcraft 2 player it's nice to know this franchise hasn't been totally forgotten by Microsoftactivisionblizzardking.

I didn't get a picture but it was more or less the model pictured here. The radio was showing a bunch of stuff they didn't want to see, turns out it was stuck on "demo mode" and listing a bunch of features. The interface was unintuitive but luckily he kept a manual, so I navigated through the settings menu and turned off the demo. Sorted.

Two groups simulate typical family-oriented commutes between different locations across the Island of Montréal, to compare the experience of biking vs. public transit.

Modo carshare members can use a compass card/key in place of the usual fob.

Mobi bikeshare members can use the compass card/key in place of the 7 digit user code (4 digit PIN still required).

To recap, the challenge is to make posts or comments each fitting one of 10 specific criteria. Original challenge thread: https://lemmy.ca/post/70151876

Just want to ask, how is it going? How far have you progressed? Have you noticed any difference in post quality this month?

For those that haven't started or heard about it, you can still make it by doing one a day!

What's more astounding than Trump repeatedly claiming an imminent end to the conflict, is the media taking it seriously every time for several months now.

Stephanie Allen of COPE stepped aside for this election following a meeting trying to rally the progressive parties' support under one banner. However, there are two remaining potential candidates who are both adamant on running for mayor. Who in your opinion would be better to get behind, the candidate under a party that has a more focused organizing arm, or the more recognizable personality in city politics?

I came up with this to encourage a greater variety of posts and comments to niche communities, with the support from people who usually just comment occasionally and lurk.

Participants will evaluate their own progress. If you get a score of 10/10, you will win a virtual Lemmy Gold Star, and hopefully everybody will win a noticeably more active Threadiverse in the smaller communities!

Remember to be respectful and follow rules of the instances and communities you post to.

Feel free to share this with your own instance. I will try to post a mid-challenge follow-up in 3 weeks and a concluding ceremony in October in ![email protected]. Good luck!

Here's an idea for my fellow Lemmings, Piefedians and others, about a fun little challenge we could run in the month of September, to encourage a greater variety of posts across our communities with help from people who usually lurk or only occasionally comment. Each person would score themselves on an attempt to make 10 contributions across some defined categories in a month. What do you think?

Kobe, a kid working a summer construction job in Belgium whose crew found a buried stash of gold worth €9M or 10.5M USD in today's money, is the inspiration for this question. I'm assuming in that event, half goes to the property owner and it's 4 construction workers and a foreman splitting the other half. The rightful owner has 5 years to claim according to local law. What would you do while you wait that out?
