They don't get any epic music for the fight.

No no no, they get something Deadpool-esque, like Barbie Girl or Dragostea Din Tei.

And yes, I'm old, sue me. Let's see what the Supreme Court has to say about that.

55

I was thinking something very similarly psychotic like "Let it Go" or "The Sound of Music."

This, and other equally valuable reasons, are why I choose "I Will Survive," by Gloria Gaynor.

7

Stayin Alive by The Beegees was my first thought.

Or we could recreate the zombie beating scene in the Winchester from Shaun of the Dead to Don't Stop Me Now by Queen.

yiffit.net

How on earth has nobody said X Gon' Give It To Ya. Maybe people are getting fixated on the Supreme Court part, but I feel like that's the right theme for kicking any ass in a White Castle parking lot.

37

Nah, Deadpool already used it, it's like an unwritten rule. When a guy in spandex runs around making millions faking a fight scene with it, you aren't supposed to reuse it.

We're Not Gonna Take It by Twisted Sister. Of course.

37

They should be beaten to death without a soundtrack. Nothing should hide the sounds of their comeuppance.

28

The national anthem on loop. Because they have to hear it all the time and it'll remind them.

In that song, the law won. Not the outcome I'd be hoping for.

16

Granted...

However, the lyrics seem to be sung from the point of view of someone who turned to crime after the system failed them, and the Clash make it sound defiant and powerful despite the outcome.

It's time to settle some grievances with the Law.

EDIT: I mean, just imagine that first guitar riff coming in right after someone kicks Thomas square in the nuts as the opening salvo... beautiful.

4

Even in our fantasies we wouldn't get away with it. But much ass would be whooped nonetheless.

1

Yakety sax

They don’t get a fight. I give them a wedgie and have them chase me around the parking lot

15

The entire sound track of Hotline Miami 1 and 2.

If I had to pick one, Hydrogen by MOON.

Ten guys jump one, what a man
You fight each other, the police state wins
Stab your backs when you trash our halls
Trash a bank if you've got real balls

You still think swastikas look cool
The real Nazis run your schools
They're coaches, businessmen and cops
In a real fourth Reich, you'll be the first to go

-- *Nazi Punks Fuck Off* by The Dead Kennedys
12

BANG POW BOOM - Insane Clown Posse

I fight naked with Juggalo Face Paint and a Bottle of Faygo up my ass.

Just like my forefathers did against the Romans 🥲

12

Straight up laughed out loud. What a mental image. Thanks for the chuckle man.

City Hall by Tenacious D.

🎵We'll have 'em screaming in the streets and tipping over cars and breaking windows of small businesses and setting fucking fires! Setting fuckin' fires! And setting fucking fires!🎵

What's the name of the Benny Hill theme song?

11
lemm.ee

it would depend on mood or reason.

i understand the RATM suggestions. that's sort of an obvious top contender.

Ministry's ass clowns comes to mind. but that's where I started day dreaming and drifted toward their earlier work and thought of scarecrow and then pslam 69 because hehe.

or maybe this is a classier whitecastle parking lot. a light piano like aria de capo ...or maybe it's more ride of the valkries vibe? hmm

last thought. primus. my name is mud. (but call me ellowishus deverdander ambercrombie )

10

"So I kissed him upside the cranium with that aluminum baseball bat. My name is Mud"

Les Claypool is a fucking legend.

5

Any. The answer is any. I'll knock the fuck out of a geriatric ignoramus while god damned polka music is in the background. But if I had to choose....Get to the Gone by Static X

lemmy.dbzer0.com

"I want candy" by mc Chris?

or maybe something from the coup? like "magic clap" or "takin these" or "everythang" or "ride the fence"...

edit: oh fuck. I forgot "the man" by the killers

double edit: damn, reading the coup track list and I missed "we are the ones" and "5 million ways to kill a ceo"

triple edit: the stimulator put out a series of workout mixes called "burning cop car" that is full of winners in this category

Nobody speak by DJ Shadow.

The music video won't let me fight politicians without playing it.

Nazi Punks Fuck Off - Dead Kennedys(1:04)

Gag On It - Kim Petras (1:40)

She's Kerosene - The Interrupters (2:51)

West End Riot - The Living End (3:51)

Or skip the play list and:

Roundabout - Yes (8:36)

Kind of a different feel, but: Fight Song - The Stanfields

Also, Metallica - For Whom The Bell Tolls and Creeping Death

Finally, the entire first Matrix Original Soundtrack

Edit: Gorillaz - Feel Good is tickling my brain, and there's something about Foster the People's Pumped Up Kicks but I'm not sure if it's a good idea. And: Dope - Die Motherfucker Die

I love The Stanfields and For Whom The Bell Tolls is my all time favorite Metallica song. Want to be best friends?

7

BAM, there it is. Isn't that song always the answer to these posts? Because it should be.

4

First song that came to mind with prior to reading the comments was Beastie Boys Sabotage. Although after reading the comments I appreciate many of the other suggestions too.

8

They are rage, brutal, without mercy. But you. You will be worse. Rip and tear, until it is done.

This thread is going to be a huge collection of fire songs.

6

mmm so many slayer tunes can fit a beat down. payback is chef kiss though.

notable ones from slayer that came to mind for me

hell awaits, spill the blood, raining blood war ensemble, ok I have come to the conclusion that the vast majority of slayer songs work for a variety of violent scenarios. this may seem obvious but it took me a bit to get there.

2

I've got to be honest: it's probably ska. I don't even like ska all too much, but I think it would fuel my rage.

5

The entire Rage Against the Machine discography. I have a lot of punching to do.

5

Clubbed to Death by Rob Dougan from The Matrix. I want a video of the festivities to watch again and again too.

5

Definitely something punk...either the Interrupters Take Back the Power or Flogging Molly's What's Left of the Flag.

5

Oh man, I saw these guys a few times back when I was in high-school, but I haven't thought about them in years.

3

I always thought someone should do a fight scene to Venetian Snares - A Lot of Drugs

I guess sometimes you need to be the change you want to see in the world

2

It's probably a boring answer but Deify by Disturbed. That, or I could go with something completely out of left field like this.

2

Gonna be a coin toss between Mr. Highway's Thinking About the End by A Day To Remember, or Gasoline by I Prevail

Honourable mention goes to Winning by C.H.A.Y.

2

I'm going with "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor. Seems white castley and ass kicky.

2

Probably something from an anime, like those hyped up japanese songs that play on Digimon when they are powering up.

1

Propeller heads: take California

Not because it's the right song or the right words but because the baseline just slaps
