TIL the U.S. Civil War is called "The Slave War" in Icelandic

Technically true. The War of Independence WAS a civil war. It was a British civil war.
Goes to show that the victors write the history book.

It's wasn't 43 in a row.
Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson.
Jefferson was openly not. The other two were "no affiliation".
John has a point and all, but let's not forget these fine gentlemen, and try not to group them in with the fairy tale believers.

This $60 Flashcart Can Play ANY Nintendo Switch Game.
Good luck getting one. I was on the pre order and my order sat for like 6 months. They told me a few times in emails "don't worry, it should be shipping next week!" then they went silent a gain for a while. I finally asked for a refund.
I hear you can get knock offs already from wish though.

Comedy has peaked ladies and gentlemen
My wife would be super freaked out and disgusted if I was reading a Bible.
She'd sit down and flip though the naked ladies one though.

Horse shit.
It was never abandoned. The valley was steadily habitated for thousands of years by a number of tribes before American settlers forces the Yaqui from the land.
None of them had air conditioning, and they thrived until a foreign invader took their land by force.

783 million people face chronic hunger. Yet the world wastes 19% of its food, UN says
19% of the population of the globe is 1.5B. So there's enough waste to feed the starving roughly twice.

7.62 NATO isn't the same thing as 30-06. 7.62 NATO refers to a specific cartridge, not the bullet projectile itself. It's the same as .308 Winchester. 7.62x51mm.
30-06 is 7.62x63mm

Not one single person from Canada, Mexico, or Peru would refer to themselves or their countrymen as American. If you asked them if they were an American you'd get reaction ranging from laughter to insulted anger.
Everyone on both continents with America in their name universally recognize the term American to refer to people from the US, and none of them have any desire to be changed the meaning to include themselves.
Labels of this type don'tfenerally get used based on continent. Otherwise you'd refer to people from most of Russia as Asian instead of Russian.

Windows 7 with Aero Glass, in my opinion, was the last version of windows that actually felt warm and comfortable to use. 8, 10 and 11 all feel so cold, sterile and boring.

The main issue with Vista was an absolute garbage HAL and driver stack.
It was incapable of working with hardwarw that XP did out of the box. Even if you managed to find a working driver it would likely crash once a day.
Also the active desktop that would always crash leaving you with an IE error page for a wallpaper.

Because it actually fits on a shelf, it's way quieter, and can be thrown in a backpack if you want to take it places.
Those are the things I miss after upgrading from the S to the X.
Also "why not get an X and not use disks".... Well why pay double if you don't need to use disks? The performance difference isn't huge except on a few games made to utilize the X.
