Your Brain On A Run Looks A Lot Like Your Brain In Meditation

Reply in thread

You might think that, and before running I thought that. At one point I’d cancel runs if my AirPods weren’t charged; I couldn’t bear the thought of running without music. Now all runs are without music and the meditative affects don’t surprise me. It’s quite astonishing how running makes you think and what you notice. Obviously there are many factor to take into account and YMMV, but this has been my experience.

Democrats slam Trump for not making good on promise to ‘immediately’ lower food prices

Reply in thread

I think they need to be aggressive, publicly, with their highlighting of Trump’s “shortcomings”. Like billboards. Or interviews on TV. Or (ab)using privilege in the House. Etc. Just say stuff that’s true that they wouldn’t normally want to say. “Trump finger raped a woman”, “Putin’s lapdog”, “Pornstar fucker”, “Friend to pedophiles”.

In your face shit that’s inappropriate. Or was inappropriate until Trump changed the rules.

Just keep repeating it day after day, and like Trump, it’ll become part of the narrative through repetition.

Would conservative audiences believe a targeted mis/disinformation campaign about AI being capable of helping men become pregnant?

Who would’ve thought a casino bankrupting, pussy grabbing, compulsive lying, narcissistic, Epstein best friending, felony committing, convicted sexual offender could enter and succeed in the political arena whilst accusing people of eating cats and dogs?

But here we are.

Not a great leap to a different strand of bullshit that would leave the wider world agog. More agog. Agoger?
