Girls, stop enticing men

Maybe if we didn't divide people by sex and assign gender norms from birth we would learn how to interact before puberty without sexual objectification. It would make navigating teenage years a lot easier if we started than with a gender/sex diverse social group opposed to the current default being through the lens of objectification.

Especially if you're older and know that everything you've worked for is at risk. Especially if you're middle aged and your hope of a comfortable old age is being destroyed. Especially if you have family, and know your children's future depends on it.

I know you mean well but fuck ageism, the youth always fight. They don't need a pep talk, older people do.

Musk says DOGE is halting Treasury payments to US contractors

Reply in thread

Lawsuit submitted

Lower court determines whether to stay the action while case is handled

Changes are unrecoverable since department can't pay staff managing the payments

Law enforcement given warrant to force stay

Law enforcement chooses not to enforce because they have no motivation

Payments never restored

Case goes to supreme court

Law interpreted in favor of the administration because clearly no means yes, it's obvious

Congress doesn't respond due to right wing majority

Checks and balances are dead.

Real men are also able to access their emotions, express their needs(both emotional and physical), develop and share empathy, and nurture deep relationships within their community.

Though i would argue none of what either of us said has to do with gender.

Relentlessly locking your own humanity away behind a strong man facade built on shame is one of the biggest reason these fuckers become so hateful and make "manliness" seem like such a putrid prospect.

imply same hobbies or something

They're both into the same team so probably wearing a Jersey or something for game day. Something to talk about. The situation with the spouses was also an easy ice breaker.

It's a kind of slang or dialect speech from a stereotype of people in rural areas(hillbilly, redneck, or just country), also as gold prospectors(1840's) are commonly portrayed in films.

"Them there hills", which means, "those hills over there".

Them/their are pronouns for non-binary people replacing the gendered he/his or she/hers.

It is a pun and an excellent one at that.

I was in it for 5 years. I wouldn't have made it another decade. Glad you're on the other side. I hope you can find your emotions, the ones that you have somewhere inside that really care for you in a way you haven't felt all this time.

Also therapy if you can afford it and find one that clicks with you. It's frustratingly helpful in that it doesn't feel like you're doing much but the reinforcement and structure is everything.

And definitely more dates!
