To be fair about the archiving thing you have to consider that being able to make old data read only allows you to optimize a lot of things. With good engineering the allowance for archival should make the whole site faster and more stable. So sort of a soft feature.

Reminds me of a character in The Expanse who gets illegal hormone gland implants that can be activated for a burst of heightened awareness. The drawback is twofold. When the activation wears off the user experiences debilitating nausea for several minutes. Over the long term the illegal part comes into play because you know those things aren't rated for health and safety. This character requires regular blood transfusions/dialysis due to toxin buildup from shoddy workmanship.

Anyway, that's an entire tangent. I'm excited to see if there are interesting complications from a doctor who's strapped with combat drugs of questionable ethics.

That's great! I was wary of the functionality of PWAs the first time I used them (fearing a lack of functionality) but it's been a breeze with every one so far.

Firefox for Android also has the "Install" feature although I don't know if that's technically a PWA or just a sandboxed browser window.

Seconding the basic rules. You can get pretty much the entire vibe of the game from this. You can even create characters!

All attributes are equally important, you cannot remove one and have the same God.

Is love equal in importance to faith or is it subordinate to it?

For me understanding the difference is about (trying and failing) to understand the nature of God an what it means to be sanctified and become more like Him. God embodies love perfectly in everything He does. I don't actually know if Faith is technically an attribute of God but I would imagine it's a similar situation, that whatever we do that we call faith is also perfectly embodied by God.

Anyway, what I'm saying is that we have our paltry version of Love that we can pantomime without being saved then by grace through faith we begin to be sanctified and better able to Love.

Not hyperbole. Not sarcasm. He did not say "What are we to do? Love our enemies?! lol jk". He said to love our enemies.

You can easily find both extremes, of cage stage or legalist attitudes that present Love as being of lesser priority than rote doctrine, and attitudes that lose sight of a real doctrine of Love in favor of a shallow "feel good" theology. As a fallen human I find myself swinging like a pendulum between the two from day to day.

Someone that is of eternal fascination to me is the unenumerable completeness of God's love. That all thing He does/has done was/is/will be perfectly loving to all people in all places at all times. You hear common wisdom that it's loving to always/never/sometimes do one particular thing to others but that wisdom is always from such a tiny temporal perspective. If we had eternal perspective we could truly love by making all of our actions perfectly loving but we don't so we can't. We can only pantomime bits and snippets and cave shadows.

I like it as a "sometimes" thing. It's adds a very in-your-face lolsorandom aspect to the game that is too much for most games.

It's fun but can invalidate too many cards and decks and board states to be the normal way to play for most people.

That sounds great. I care about the new player experience as well and it's cool to see such a "what you see is what you get" commander get some love. I need to pick one up, actually.

Seconding Smart Launcher. Automatic categorization beats pretty much every other feature I can think of in a launcher.

I try to treat my devices as commitments as far as spending but disposable as far as usage habits and not having invent my own categories helps me just USE my phone instead of playing with it.
