This is absolutely true. There are often calls for 'anyone want to mod' on even smaller subs... and you know, it sounds fun to a lot of folks at first. But if you've ever actualy been a mod, even of a smaller community online? It loses its appeal very quickly.

The very concept of unsupervised kids is so anathema to society today. Kids need spaces to just be kids.

Summer camp - the overnight, week or two long kind, is a great middle ground. Yes, kids are "supervised". But... Mostly, just by bigger kids. Who are there, mostly to have fun too. Run, play, swim, learn about themselves and other people. My boys both spent every summer for 12+ years at camp. And they always grew, so, so much while they were there.

I'm a woman. Over the last 5-10 years I went from ~160-180 to 234 this Jan.The difference in treatment has been staggering. Now down to around 219. Hoping I can continue to lose. Not on a glp-1, though I've definitely considered it.
