What's your favorite song lyric?

“ I'll make time now, would you wait? I can meet you at the bottom but it won't be the same “

Cowboy tears by Oliver tree

My dad is a cowboy who lived on a farm his whole life. Went crazy in his 50’s and by 60 needs full time memory care at a dementia home. The whole song makes me sob, to me it’s about a cowboy with dementia that I had a shitty last few years with. Love you, dad.

I use it for skincare advice and it’s shockingly going very well because I know enough about skincare to correct it and it can put some stuff together that I didn’t think of. My husband is just like you, for code and research that he verifies.

Our neighbor tried to text us some confrontational shit about why he didn’t owe us $900 for a fence he agreed to and it was so, so bad. It was 4 paragraphs of just AI cringe. Embarrassing as hell.

Leaked Chats Show Alleged Kirk Killer 'Doesn't Fit Into Any Tidy Narrative'

Taking politics (mostly) out of it -

Luigi allegedly killed because he saw injustice and had empathy for other people, wanted to show the evils of health insurance companies.

This kid imo allegedly killed because he loved someone CK was spouting hateful narratives about. His empathy for this person he loved, and people like them who are just normal people living life, made it easy for him to turn to guns when he wanted this person gone for eternity.

People with empathy are snapping.

And the fact that Trump, the biggest coward in history, draft dodger extraordinaire, rose back up from a circle of protection while he’s just been shot at?? Please. He’d rather those “ idiot security “ people take the hit and die before he risked being hit. I feel if he were in actual unplanned danger he’d be shidding and pissing all the way to the car without a second thought for a photo op.

My dad is 60 now and always said he’d leave some money for my siblings and I. Luckily he also simultaneously raised us to not rely on other people and to plan your life as best you can. He developed dementia and needs to be under 24/7 care. It costs $8,000 a month. At this rate he’ll more than likely have enough to cover his care costs until he passes and I’m thankful as fuck everyday he has that money. I don’t give a fuck if I see one cent just as long as he has enough for himself. I’ve never let myself think it was ever going to be mine.
