What would you do if you won the lottery?

Keep a million for fun, everything else, buy a very conservative and diversified portfolio, borrow against it and purchase real estate worldwide in places with water access and least affected by climate change. With profits start funding antifa, anarcho-syndicalist, ecosocialist, and similar movements.

In most situations both interviewer and interviewee are thinking the same thing and saying the "right" thing because our capitalist overlords made us comply.

We live in a fucked up world.

Nobody earns a billion dollars

They do - this is a common misconception. If they have 1b, that means that any bank will loan them 1b, which they will use to purchase more businesses and then they have 2b so it means they can take out a loan of 2b - pay previous debt and purchase something else. Rinse repeat.

Of course this is an oversimplification - but having millions in stock is as good as having it in the bank.

This is what happens when people strike or protest in any meaningful way. It's poor others that are also being affected by the protest. The institution can't do anything with how unreasonable the protesters are.

You can replace reddit - mod - user with government - teacher - student, or corporation - bus driver - commuters, etc

How does everyone feel about Google Pixel phones?

The only phones that ever made me warm and fuzzy inside were Google made phones (Nexus 5 was brilliant) and it's unlikely I'll try a different phone anytime soon.

iPhones stress me out due to the height of the walled garden and other android phones are usually a cluttered mess.

Anyway, I recommend pixel phones and most of my family have pixel phones these days.

This has been my exact experience learning German for the past 9 months - some things are really simple and intuitive but then "der, die, das" "jede, jeden, jedes,...", Sie means 10 different things. Anyway, next time I'm in Germany I'll try to speak German.

Sorry for writing in English.
