While I get that, it is still unfortunate that no open-source, trusted variant can be part of the usual ways.

In Germany Social Media is used as one of the best ways to propagandise many youths towards conservative / officially known as right wing parties. I knew way to many people who said so much sht just because they found another nonsensical post on (e. g.) tiktok. It just pains me to believe how many young adults, that can vote, were fed full since childhood with this kind of bull. And never forget middle aged men that either went to war or only training and based their hopes on this kinda sht. They never fail to disappoint.

This always bugged me. Like, how can you code, develop and / or lead an open-source and "privacy-friendly" project and support far right politics. That's just a form of self-sabotage.

different design philosophies
Guys chillax, there is only one respecting winner here; Thumbs down, XFCE.
Customising (not gonna say the racist word)?...............XFCE.
Lightweight?......................................................................XFCE.
Can look like the other two?.............................................XFCE.
Can be debloated even in the settings?...........................XFCE.
Supports both X11 and wayland (if that matters)?.........XFCE.

P.S. Yes I mean that sarcastic/non-sarcastic. Yes I'm in my own bubble. Yes I use systemd free systems (and waiting for a good glibc-free one too!). Yes I'm autistic.

Probably not that good, because unless your bank can be run fully through the web it will probably detect exactly the same (maybe more) things that wouldn't go through on things like Graphene.
